Summary: Tupac Shakur Book Is A Must-Buy!
Review: As a massive fan of the late great Tupac Shakur, there are few publishings that capture as much information and insight into his life and career as this amazing book from the good people at Vibe Magazine. Consisting of every Vibe article and interview written on Shakur between 1994-97, this gives even the most casual of Pac's fans more information than they could ever dream of. With features on his early career, his signing to Death Row, and his infamous interview with Kevin Powell from inside Clinton Correctional Facility where he denounced "Thug Life", it's all here. This book also contains some of the most informative material on the feud between Death Row Records and Bad Boy. You'll get everyone's side of the story on the Can-Am Studio shooting. You'll hear what both Suge and Puffy had to say about the East vs. West saga. You will also get to hear Pac at his rawest and most candid. If you are even the least bit interested in the amazing story of Tupac Shakur, you should pick up this book.

Summary: a very talented rapper w/ an i dont give a fu*k attitde
Review: This probably had to be the best autobiography I have read in a long time. (This could also be because I love reading or hearing about Tupac.) This book just made me want to read more and more until I fell asleep. I give this book a 5 all the way. This autobiography on Tupac Amaru Shakur gives so much detail aabout his life. It was great. It got me to look at Tupac at many different perspectiv es. It also gave me a lot of information that I was looking for about him. Tupac quotes on the last page of the book, along with a somewhat submissive picture of him, that says, "I believe that everything you do bad comes back to you. So everything that I do that's bad, I'm going to suffer for it. But in my heart, I believe what I'm doing is right. So I feel like I'm going to heaven." This quote is basically saying that he knows what he is doing is bad, but at the same time, he feels it's right, so therefore he is still going to heaven. This shows how hard-headed he could be but yet still optimistic. The words optimistice andhard-headed usually don't go in the same sentence, but if you are talking about Tupac, they sure can. Tupac definitely without a doubt got the most out of life until he died. Yet another waste of a great rap artist, and a great mind. Who knows what he would have accomplished in the future? Tupac was one of the greatest expressers of feelings. When he rapped, he was real. He would foreshadow his fate and almost be able to tell the future, his future. It is so hard to sum up a review of Tupac's life in a thousand words, or less. He is worth many more words than that. Even though I still listen to Tupac's old albums, the thing I miss about him most is what new albums he would have made. R.I.P. wherever you are, Tupac.

Summary: Pictorial Life of Tupac Shakur
Review: Through a collection of Vibe Magazine articles through out and after 2pac's life, one is able to piece 2pac's life by chronicles of events and interviews. While this may not be the most complete biography (159 pages, nearly half of which contain photos), it'll leave fans more than just satisfied. The book remains compelling from start finish, from articles written back when 'Pac was alive adding to its authenticity, exclusive interviews and brillant photos. There are so many large glossy photos, to the point that the book could double as a coffee table book for the curious to thumb through. Another enjoyable facet of this book, is even though it is a collection of articles and such rather than one continuous biography, it allows the reader to save analysis for themselves. Rather than offering answers, this compilation will only arise more questions on the two sidedness of Tupac and his often contridictory personality. Only complaint is this book can be easily read in a matter of a night, but worth reading and browsing by fans and the curious in hopes to understand Tupac.
