Summary: Inaccurate Sources
Review: Before holding this book as fact, you may want to look into the author's sources. Out of curiousity, I checked into a few of the references in the book. For instance, on page 23 of Chapter Two "Let Them Eat Cake", Bossie mentions that Kerry voted in 1999 to increase tobacco taxes by $133 billion to pay for prescription drug benefits. His reference, #41 of Chapter Two refers to S. Con. Res. 20. This resolution refers to investigations into the bombing of the Israeli Embassy and has nothing whatsoever to do with tobacco tax increases.

Make sure you check a writer's sources before you take his written word for fact. I found several other such discrepencies in this book.

Summary: This is the real John Kerry!
Review: David Bossie has done an excellent job revealing John Kerry, the real John Kerry and his many faces.

For more information, especially on the real John Kerry prior to the senate read Unfit For Command by John O'Niel.

Summary: Thank you Mr. Bossie for revealing "The Real John Kerry"!
Review: David Bossie uncovered the truth about Al Gore and Bill Clinton and now he has done the same on John Kerry. David Bossie unwinds the false image that the media portrays of John Kerry and gives the real dope on this former presidential candidate.

I think all Americans can be grateful to David Bossie and to The Swift Boat Vets for exposing the real John Kerry to the American Public.

Also recommend Unfit For Command by John O'Niel and How To Talk To A Liberal if you really have to by Anne Coulter.

Summary: Kerry was pathetic!
Review: Having read Unfit For Command, I really thought that John Kerry had reached his low in Vietnam for the 3 1/2 months that he was over there. But now, having read this well researched and accurate book about Kerry, reading how Kerry voted to have a tax put on gasoline and voted against weapons that are being used by the US Military for national security, it is clear that this man has more than one face and is not fit even to be a senator.

BUT...at least as a senator he can be contained and is limited to one vote. As President.....???? It would have been a tragedy!

Summary: logical fallacies abound...
Review: In a world governed by a man who 'shoots from the hip', it isn't hard to see why this book gets good reviews. We generally aren't too concerned with specific arguments, but rather general impressions. We come to the table with our conclusions already established.
John Kerry has been a politician for years. That is probably both good and bad. Good because he knows how to get things done, bad because he has probably compromised himself a lot. Find me a politician that hasn't done that. It is simply not a fair standard to judge. While his specific policies have been adjusted, the principles that have informed the policies have not changed.
Three examples of bad reasoning:
1) John Kerry offended vets and the military establishment in the early seventies (even though he happened to be saying things that are taught in history books today), so he is a bad guy. (find cases of great paradigm shift that didn't take a convicted group to take unpopular stands; you don't think MLK offended some people? Still, history is on MLK's side, and on this issue it is on Kerry's. Sometimes the truth is painful).
2) John Kerry has participated in the loads of money changing hands in Washington, so he is a hyprocrite to criticise it. Eisenhower criticized the military establishment, even though he had been long part of it; Johnson did a political about face supporting civil rights as president as compared to his personal political history because, as he said, he finally could do this. Why did these men 'waffle'. Because in order to survive politically, politicians compromise. I am not saying this is right, but we must take into account that our system has flaws that require compromises to survive. Hopefully, when Kerry is elected, he will use is new power to reform these sorts of things. If not, he is about like every other politician.
3)John Kerry has waffled in his Iraq stance. John Kerry agreed that Hussein was a bad guy that needed to be controlled. That does not mean we need to attack Iraq. John Kerry said that any progress on the ground in Iraq would benefit the war on terror. That does not mean any bombing would be of benefit. Bombing is not the same as progress, and in this case it probably is doing more longterm harm than good. John Kerry agreed that we needed to give the president the authority to act, if needed. He did not, however, agree to support the president however he acted. Sometimes we must give authorization to make independent sound judgments. If we believe the resulting judgment was not sound, we certainly have a responsibility to try and stop the action. If you disagree with this reasoning, try this experiment: Whenever you vote for anyone, remember it is waffling if you disagree with them ever again! I may authorize daughter to drive a car some day, giving her the benefit of the doubt that she can make good decisions. But if she shows bad judgment, I certainly have an obligation to adapt accordingly!
We have to expose the kinds flawed arguments like 'Iraq is safer because it Sadaam was bad!' or 'disagreeing with the war is supporting Hussein!' John Kerry has modified his beliefs sometimes for political reasons, but more often because mature people often must adjust their beliefs to fit an ever changing world. Emerson said "A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds."

Summary: Kerry the Hunter?
Review: Kerry has yet unvieled another false face this time as a hunter. People who know Kerry are getting a good laugh on that one. This guy deosn't even know how to handle a rifle. Kerry handles a rifle with as much finesse as he handles a hand grenade. At least the hand grenades got Kerry two controversial purple hearts.

Summary: Why this guy is bad for the economy, ssi, healthcare and
Review: more. This is not a bash Kerry book. Rather it showcases clearly the philosphy of John Kerry and allows you to decide for yourself. Well documented.

Summary: Read this Book.........Know the Truth....Or Rather..the Lies
Review: This book is an excellent exposition of the true
nature of John Kerry. His lies, his hidden agenda's,
the way he has misplaced the trust of the people as
a public servant for over 2 decades and his constant
and never ceasing contradictions. Anti-war,
Anti-Democracy, Anti-Private Ownership, Pro-Communism,
as well as a traitor, to himself, his country and
what Unfit for Command brought out into the limelight,
a traitor to all Vietnam veterans. Is this the man
you want for president? Read this book and decide
for yourself. Nothing but logically backed facts, with
sources listed, so you can make up your own mind about
'Scary Kerry.'

Summary: Well at least you can't call Kerry 2 faced
Review: This guy has more faces, more personalities, more positions than a chemelion. Want to learn about the real John Kerry? Then read The Many Faces of John Kerry and Unfit For Command. Also recommend How To Talk To Liberals (if you really have to) by Anne Coulter

Summary: Will The Real Slim Kerry Please Stand Up!
Review: This is an easy to read book that shows the truth about the Democratic candidate, John Kerry. Mr. Kerry has made a career of self-serving directions without regard for those that might pay dearly for his treachery. Through it all he has remained weak and indecisive, which are the last characteristics we need in a leader during a time of war.
