Review: Well done book. Bottom line here, Kerry doesnt have a prayer. The real debating hasent even begun and already Kerry is tripping on his own statements and misstatements. Please. I'm a die hard Democrat, is this the best face we can put forward. Good book though.

It smacks of propaganda that one would have seen coming out fascists Germany or Communist Russia, although not as nearly well written.

Summary: BOOK SHOULD BE CATEGORIZED AS A WORK OF FICTION
Review: The author is nothing more than a paid apologist for the inept George W. Bush who has secured his place in history as the WORST man to ever serve as President in modern American history. In the feeble defense of the inexperienced and unqualified George W. Bush, the author conveniently fails to document the sad fact that the criminal negligence of George W. Bush was the cause of the greatest breach of national security in history. The author and the rest of the educated world know by now that George W. Bush had been warned multiple times about the terrorist attack by both the U. S. and international intelligence community and yet he did nothing in regard to his national security duties. The author does not acknowledge that there have been no valid successes in the on-the-job training period George W. Bush since although he campaigned as a moderate, he has governed as a radical right winger and imposed an agenda on the country that is now beneficial. READ THIS BOOK ONLY IF YOU LIKE FANTASY.

Summary: The right man at the right time
Review: First of all, I was thrilled to see our local Costco offering this book along with Let Freedom Ring and Deliver Us From Evil as replacements for all of their copies of The Price of Loyalty and American Dynasty. Did those two books bomb or what?George W. Bush is the right man at the right time. Good to see that authors like Podhoretz is telling it like it is. MANY OF US ARE GETTING TIRED OF THE DEMOCRAT LIES. Good to see that GWBII has once again passed Kerry according to recent polls. I guess the real truth is finally getting out. In another regard, I find it interesting that so many negative reviews were posted here on this book before it was even released. Guys, try reading the book. A saying that I believe in goes like this: "A mind is like a parachute, it only works when it is open." Try opening your minds guys.

Review: As a leader in the Log Cabin Republicans, John Podhoretz continues his unbalanced exhortation of his favorite wet dream, g.w. bush. Incompetance is not a virtue, and praising this bumbling president in a tome worthy of a truck stop bathroom is understandable considering it's source.

Summary: Hilarious Science Fiction Satire!
Review: Undeniably one of the funniest science fiction books ever written! In BUSH COUNTRY, humorist John Podhoretz brilliantly describes a bizarre alternate universe in which a morally corrupt, intellectually challenged multi-millionaire buffoon illegally assumes the position of the President of the U.S. and proceeds to spend the next four years vomiting repeatedly all over the American people. In an attempt to hide the truth from the populace, grotesquely partisan pundits financed by the Republican Party write and publish a series of outlandish books claiming that Up Is Down, War Is Peace, Freedom Is Slavery and, most outrageous of all, Bush Is A Great President. Only a very few sheeplike followers believe the lies, and the ending is predictable but satisfying--a fed up America votes the loser out of the White House. If you want to howl with laughter, you can't do much better than this wonderfully hilarious book. Highly recommended!

Summary: THE RIGHT MAN AT THE RIGHT TIME
Review: I have seen numerous books come out from such authors as Al Franken and Michael Moore blasting our President for being a liar, a hypocrite, and an idiot. However, it has become clear over the course of his Presidency that George W. Bush was the right man at the right time in history. He led a successful war in Afghanistan that took out those who killed thousands of Americans on September 11. He displaced the ruling mafia, the Taliban, of those poor citizens and liberated the 25 million of them. Being fair-minded, I must admit that the Afghanis situation is still not good enough, as the country is ruled mainly by warlords, but it is still clear that the vast majority of them are better off now than they were under the Taliban.
Secondly, President Bush led the most successful land invasion possibly in the history of the world in Iraq. With a low level of civilian and American casualties, the coalition of the willing overthrew the despotic regime of Saddam Hussein, again liberating 25 million people. The loss of life of civilians and brave American citizens is deeply regrettable, but I believe the result of the operation was overwhelmingly positive. I know that the war can be a very controversial issue and numerous left-wingers will probably give me an unhelpful vote because of that, but I urge them to think critically. Whether Saddam actually possessed WMD (not yet conclusive), the liberation of all these people was well worth the cost to America. Consider this: 500 American servicemen tragically killed, 25,000,000 citizens or Iraq living in a more free, peaceful place, soon under democratic rule. This means that for every man and woman military member killed, 50 thousand Iraqis have a better life! I respect differing on opinions on this matter, but please don't buy into the propaganda surrounding the war protests.
President Bush has stood up for America's core values, appointing judges who respect the right to life, signing a partial-birth abortion ban, standing up for traditional marriage, and launching a faith-based initiative to help underpriviledged Americans recover from illness and addiction.
I look forward to voting for President Bush this November in what will be my first election!

Review: Read this book if you want to see a set of cogent responses to the various diatribes and irrational leftish rantings about Mr. Bush. Then check your own memory and make up your own mind about our President. It is a good book and a timely reminder about what really happened over the past three years.

Summary: Response to the last reviewer
Review: Just out of curiosity, have you ever read Marx? He had contempt for the ruling elite; not the average citizen. Anyway, I voted for Bush in the last election and I have utter contempt for the average citizen, too. It is not a far-left attribute. Oh yeah, I haven't actually read the book but I enjoy reading the reviews for the contraversial ones. I think I might read this one, though. Definitely not the one by that Hannity character, though. He's a certifiable idiot.

Summary: Timely Display of a Great President
Review: This book was superb. It was informative, and elucidated scores of facts with respect to George W. Bush. The information was irrefutable, and the book is absolutely devastating to Bush-haters. I was delighted to finally see someone step up to the plate and dispell the "Crazy Liberal Ideas", one-by-one. Podhoretz also manages to maintain a light-hearted, funny tone, throughout the book. A truly relevant book now, with the election under way - Kerry VS Bush. This book is book is essential for understanding George W. Bush - a disciplined, strong, compassionate man, who continues to lead America in the right direction.
