Review: Aside from a few throw away mentions in Civil War tomes such as Battle Cry Of Freedom, Texas--and Magruder--rarely get the recognition they deserve. Sure, there are the home grown Texas history books, but by and large they are read only be serious students of that state's history. Here, Magruder, and Galveston, finally get their due.
