Summary: Content somewhat OK...but horribly edited
Review: I am a huge Eminem fan, so I thought I would buy this book to get the real picture. I was disappointed after spending around $20 on a book that had grammar errors, spelling errors, and extra-large text. It seemed more like a diary to me, but sometimes even out of chronological order. Some of the stuff was interesting to me, but for the most part the author just complained about not getting paid enough money. If I was going to write a book about my experiences, I would have it edited in order to make the flow of the book tell a story, not just a series of events. The author claimed to be such a "business man", but I have a question "If you were in Slim and Paul's place, wouldn't you have tried to keep expenses down if you could get away with it?" That's what business is about...minimizing your cost and increasing productivity.

I do respect the author for being a religious man, but the words used throughout the book didn't mix well with quoted verses from the Bible. Also, the book is used to pitch the author's rap group.

I believe that most of the stuff was true in the book, but I still love Eminem.

Summary: Meet the real Slim Shady
Review: I enjoyed this book very much. It was both interesting and exciting. Interesting because Byron and Eminem have very different perspectives on life. Exciting because you get a glimpse of what an Eminem tour is realy like. Its like having a backstage pass. You get to know all the people involved, and what the fans are like. Anyone who wants to know what Eminem is really like should read this book. Its like meeting the REAL Slim Shady. But, behind the rap persona is Marshall Mathers. This book gives you an insight into the clash of the two coming together. i'm a big Eminem fan and the book was great to see what Em is really like. Alot has been written about Eminem and his lyrics, this book gives you a look at the man behind the songs. A must read for REAL Slim Shady fans! You can't help but to love him and hate him at the same time!

Summary: THE TRUTH HURTS
Review: I KNOW BYRON, EM, AND PAUL. EVERYTHING THAT BYRON SAID IN HIS BOOK IS TRUE. IF SLIM HAD A MIND OF HIS OWN, HE WOULD NOT BE IN TROUBLE TODAY. WHEN BYRON WAS HIS BODYGUARD, YOU DID NOT HEAR OF SLIM BEING IN ANY KIND OF TROUBLE. ALL BYRON ASKED FOR WAS A RAISE IN HIS PAYCHECK. COME ON NOW, A MAN WHO SOLD MILLIONS OF RECORDS CAN'T EVEN GIVE THE MAN WHO'S SAVING HIS LIFE A MEASLEY $200 MORE A WEEK. NOW LOOK WHAT HE'S PAYING FOR ALL THE SECURITY HE HAS NOW. I RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO BUY THIS BOOK. IT'S THE TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH, AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH.

Summary: Shady Bizzness
Review: I must say, this book was really interesting. I didn't know what to expect? But, I really enjoyed reading it. I completely understand why Mr. Williams left Slim, Wouldn't anyboby? Friendship, protection, and dealing with nut case who can't think for himself. There is an old saying, "All money isn't good money". And Slims money isn't too tight! I would recommend that anyone who consider entering the music industry should read this book to give you a hint on what happens and what could happen to you. And trying to stay away from shady lawyers too!

Summary: FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I too have been personally screwed over by the one who calls himself Slim Shady, so when i found out Byron had a book out.... i rushed out to get it. and let me tell you people something.... THIS BOOK TELLS YOU THE REAL DEAL on little Marshall Mathers. This book is fabulous, and i think all Eminem fans should read it for a reality check.

Summary: Whining Fest
Review: I wouldn't recommend this book to my worst enemy. All this guy does through the whole book is whine. The majority of the book is about the fact that he thought he was underpaid & oppressed, yet no one was holding a gun to his head to stay with Marshall Mathers. He repeats himself over and over and over again. This book is just one big whining fest.

Summary: 5 stars on story, and 3 stars on writing.....
Review: I'm sure what Byron says on this book is true, I did think that he should have had it edited by someone, because at times he said the same thing four times in one paragraph. I didn't really believe how he said that Kim hits Marshall but Marshall never hits Kim.....I also don't know if I believe that Byron never took any groupies up on their offers to him.

Summary: Shady Bizzness
Review: Interesting book, though it definately skipped any type of editing process. I think Byron and Slim had a good relationship, but it was ruined by B.'s constant backstabbing and complaints about money. Them's the breaks, you paid the price. Byron portrays himself as a God-fearing man, but has a few things to learn about telling the truth (lying to his company about why he took leave). Good luck to you B.

Summary: fake crap
Review: it's hard to belive anything that's in this book. Most of it is sounds true but seems like it has added things to sell or to make Eminem seem like a bad person.
