Review: What a wonderful, touching, inspiring story. I appreciate this book for a number of reasons. It's the first story I've read concerning a Jewish child who was not put through a concentration camp. I was intrigued to see what her life was like in England, how they worked and lived, and how so many people were so helpful and went out of their way to save these children. It's easy reading and would also be great for a younger child since it doesn't contain any violence.
