Review: "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" can satisfy almost no one who knows the rules of the game. I'm deeply puzzled, in fact, why the book was written. Those who know the rules will gain nothing from it. The book does contain many lists that show how one can get from X to Kevin Bacon, but this information is found far more quickly on the web. Some of the lists in the book are not the most efficient, to add to the problem. Would-be-readers hoping to find a 7-degree or 8-degree Bacon number will not find one here, the only reason I can understand for purchasing a book on this subject. Perhaps it is a book that has outlived its time.

Review: I honestly haven't read the book, but I remember when this whole Kevin Bacon thing started and we would all just sit around mesmorized how he could be connected to like everyone in the world...even to myself (he lives in NYC and his wife (or is she his girlfriend) yelled at my friends once..anyway, I got the game and can't wait to play..I hope someday a book or game is made called 6 degrees of Seth Green (from Buffy the vampire slayer)because he has been in so many things that you don't even realize he's been in and can be connected to everyone as well. anyway, that's it.

Review: I love Kevin Bacon and so I picked up this book which I loved as much as him!!! My friends and I love to just sit there and play the game but there were people we couldn't connect to him. It would bother us a lot then we got this book and it solved several of the big ones we were stumped on.I'd like to say thanks to the creators, publishers, and everyone else who contributed to the book in some way!!! I will keep it forever!!!

Review: This book is a companion piece to the "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" game. I've played the game a few times, but I never actually knew there was a real 'board game' game of the game until recently. I figured that the book might help me learn a bit more about that wonderful actor, Kevin Bacon, and give me an edge over my croonies in crime the next time we play the game. Unfortunately, there isn't a whole lot here. The book is quite short and basically consists of a bunch of "six degrees or less" lists. The introduction by Kevin Bacon himself is interesting to read and so is the history of the game. The book also has a Kevin Bacon filmography that is rather informative. However, the book needs an update because Bacon's been in several films since 1997. This book is great for any fan of Bacon, any serious film buff, and anyone who likes to play the game. If you don't fall into one of those categories, don't waste your money.

Review: This is a charming commentary on the prolific career one of America's premier thespians. In this modern classic, Mr. Ginelli truly captures the essence of Mr. Bacon's career on the big screen. Like a barefoot jaunt through a flowery meadow, this novel captivates all of the readers senses. Thank you Mr. Ginelli for this masterpiece of modern literature.

Review: What a fun book! One connection that the authors missed: Jurassic Park to Tremors: (or visa versa). The little girl who was in Tremors bouncing on the pogo stick (while the giant worms were sensing her vibratioins and our HERO Kevin Bacon was enroute to rescue her), was the same kid in Jurassic Park who was chased by dinos with her kid brother, who also starred Jeff Goldblum, who was in The Fly with Gina Davis by whom either of these can easily be linked up with Kevin Bacon again. Anyway, fun book. Buy two so you can play with a friend.
