Rating: Summary: Pulitzer Prize Winner? Review: This is a truly amazing book. I felt like every page had a stunning insight of some sort or another. And it was a page turner, which for a memoir is pretty much unheard of (at least for me)
Rating: Summary: Prolonged, tedious navel-gazing whine Review: Typical whining Harvard Law School brainwashed product, nothing to say and says it poorly. Avoid
Rating: Summary: An Eye-Opener and Excellent Read! Review: Wow! Excellent read! I heard Ms. Dickerson in an interview on NPR and was so impressed I had to read her book. This book is an obvious labor of love and pain, a journey necessary for her to share with the world. She breaks the "mold" of everything regarding class, race and gender at various times, and the mold she breaks is not always the one we'd expect! I have already recommended this book to many friends.
