Review: I could not put this book down! It is one of those books that you can understand! I also think this book would make a great movie. Is the sixth Sense from this book, it sounded like it. If you loved the sixth sense then this true story is for you. I am a ghosthunter from Ohio and I want to commend MS Jones for coming out and sharing the story. In this field many hide as they are made fun of. I have read some reviews and they are not dealing with the Paranormal in their lives. Thank God. As someone in the business if you love ghost stories then this is the book for you! Carol

Summary: A Well Written and Touching Story of Hope and Love
Review: I read with dissapointment,amusement and sadness some "reviews"of so called "paranormal" types conspicuously based in the midwest and Ohio,who collectively and individually had some obvious negative and bitter self serving agenda against Denice Jones and her minor child.The similarity,timing and tenor of each "review" was rather telling,don't you think?!Those of us who are true openminded people and new age spiritualists,would relish and enjoy Denice's story rather than be so jealous,angry and bitter of it's pronouncements and successes.While,"The Other Side" does contain embellishments as any literary work usually does to appease the publisher and the consuming public,the gist and bulk of "The Other Side" is invigorating,spiritual,enlighteneing and uplifting.In fact,had the detractors taken a moment to converse with Denice and do back up prior to thier pronouncements,they would have discovered that Denice has carefully documented with fact and records most of the events recanted in her book.I've never ever felt the need to write a review before but to all wholesome and healthy minds,spirits and souls,including some that must still live in Ohio(!)i implore you to read Denice's book and revel in its warmth,love and unselfish guidance.It ought to be a beacon of positivity,spiritual life,energy and acceptance to all!I'm very much looking forward to the sequel.Thankyou Denice and Michael.Stay strong and persevere.You are appreciated and respected more than you'll ever know.

Review: I was so scared reading this book, that I just couldn't put it down til I was finished. I haven't read anything like it since "The Exorcist" and "The Amityville Horror". I can't imagine what this family has gone through. Knowing it was a true story made it all the more scarier. May God bless Michael and his family.

Review: Really, really interesting. I honestly couldn't put it down. A very thought-provoking and believable tale of one family's love, hope, spirituality and courageousness. Denise Jones and her son Michael should be beacons to us all who are afraid to confront our inner souls and outter ignorances. I highly recommend this book!

Review: I have had not only the opportunity to read the story by Ms. Jones but have had the honor to see the incredible footage that was taken inside the home.The story is like the Sixth Sense for the reason of her story was out before that movie was even in paper. As my interview took place I know that Mr. Troy Taylor helped with the writing of the book. A superb job by all who helped with this book. The incredable occurrance's that was menchioned in this book, took no place in outstanding documentation from Ms. Jones, Investigators and many Doctors, as the video should change many skeptics if ever shown. However they are highly personal. When it comes to horror books, this book, knowing the real story and seeing such documentation shows me that maybe this is the one story that is the real deal. When reading this book some things are hard to take, But this may be the one and only haunting that has such proof.As a professional I give this 5 stars.

Review: I wanted to thank Denice Jones for so much, first about the book I read it in 3 days it was so wonderful. I also want to thank her for her Foundation. I contacted the LIFE Foundation a few years ago as we had things going on the home. I wanted it of course to be kept quiet as I was afraid at what some people may say. Mrs. Jones helped me find an Investigator and got me the help I needed. She even wrote during and after to make sure we were all okay. There should be more angels in the world like her!So this book was and is so special to me as I consider her someone who saved my family life from tormoil. She is such a wonderful person as I in tears can not go on to Thank her. I do hope she sees this and knows how much her help is appreciated and how much her Love meant to a family in need. I hope her well in this book and by reading it I am sure she will do great, if you know her you will know what I mean. Thank You!

Review: Impossible to put down. A page-turner. Suspenseful. Heartwarming. Sometimes gut wrenching. What perfect characteristics for a book--and for the book to be based on a true story makes it all the more intriguing! It has been a very long time since a book has kept my interest on each and every page. I started reading the book on a flight from Florida to Texas and had only a very few pages left when the plane landed. The supernatural events captured my attention, of course, but the story is really one of love, strength, and survival of the human body, mind, and soul. What courage Michael has. What love his family must give him for him to sustain that courage. What an inspiration he and his family can be to us all.

Review: Way to go Michael!You are such a strong and brave boy to confront and deal with all of those spiritual beings,some good and unfortunately some bad.You make me feel as though i can overcome any problem in school or in life by reading about your story and how you deal with and cope with your problems so well!I think your book should be required reading for any child and his or her parents.It will make us all stronger both as a person and as a family.Maybe we won't take so much for granted then.You are my inspiration!Stay well and strong!I would strongly suggest this book for any child or adult.All my best. Review: I found "The Other Side" an addicting thriller which I couldn't put down. A must read for anyone questioning paranormal phenomema. It not only confirms a spiritual world, but gives you insight on how one family is coping while witnessing their son being plagued by demonic entities. How the life of a happy, loving little boy was suddenly transformed into a living nightmare, and his families terrorizing plight with no hope of end in sight. Although this book is horrifying, fascinating and ultimately hopeful, it sent chills through me knowing that what I was reading are factual events. I wish the Jones Family, all the best as they strive to rid their family from terror. And to Michael the courage and strength to persevere this horrifying ordeal.
