Summary: Had the author just seen "The Sixth Sense"?
Review: I started to read this book with great enthusiasm, as I have always wanted to be someone who "wants to believe"; however, as I plowed through the slightly hysterical, rather simplistic paragraphs, I found myself becoming more and more disgruntled, until outright skepticism finally took over. Why hasn't this story been given full-hour coverage on TLC, Unsolved Mysteries, The Discovery Channel, etc.? Why haven't Dr. Dave and Dr. Sharon from ... been over to take pictures? My brother lives in Manchester, CT; he's never heard anything about this. This would have been great fiction, however, had the writing been better. Sorry!

Summary: Never ending effects.
Review: This story has some events that could be proven creditable. Most, maybe even the entire book is based on all the effects that it takes away a good true story if that what it be down underneath.

Summary: Too much drama
Review: This story was hard to gulp. The drama seemed to out do the facts. Good read if you enjoy fiction, if your looking for a true story avoid this one. The author does write like a child.

Summary: Completely unbelievable
Review: The story is something created to sell books. Completely fictional. It reminds me of the Blair Witch Project.

Summary: The Author believes
Review: This author believes this to be a true ghost haunting without trying to resolve or find answers and not one bit of real creditable proof. This book was very hard to believe and heavy on the drama and felt like a woman who needs to fulfill her life and wants to by attention. This book was a waste of money and time.

Summary: Just couldn't buy it
Review: I've been interested in the paranormal for many years, but about halfway through this book I could no longer believe it was true.

I didn't feel the family's reactions were believable. I simply cannot fathom loving parents making the kind of decisions they made. For example - would you ever leave your children in their bedrooms alone after experiencing everything they had??? Would you invite a sickly relative to stay over when the author already said they rarely had anyone in the house even to visit for a few hours.

When it got to the part at the end,(in the cemetary) I decided this book was definately fiction.

Just my opinion.

Summary: This could happen to any family...it happened to mine.
Review: This is a story that needs to be told over and over. I doubt that most readers will be able to put this book down. It is a riveting, true story about a boy, Michael, so pure of heart and full of light that he has become a magnet to spiritual entities, many demonic in nature. Because of this, Michael has been subjected to innumerable supernatural attacks, the likes of which would literally frighten anyone else to death. Michael demonstrates courage well beyond his years and life experience on this earth plane, much like his namesake, Michael the ArchAngel.

I admire Denice Jones for having the courage of her convictions to stand by her son instead of buckling under the pressure of public opinion throughout this never-ending ordeal. In fact, Ms. Jones has managed to turn her family's scars into stars and has birthed into existence, L.I.F.E., a foundation dedicated to helping those of the same soul group as Michael, to confront their frightening challenges without fear and hopefully to triumph.

I personally have no doubt as to the veracity of the essence of this story. In fact for me it was déjà vu. Set the scene back 30+ years, and it could have been written about the home where I grew up and one of my siblings. I know that my family could have benefited greatly from L.I.F.E. and the inspiration of Denice and Michael. I challenge readers to suspend judgment while reading, and I promise...you will experience an awesome paradigm shift. We are entering a decade of great healing.

Much thanks to Denice and Michael for sharing their experiences. I pray that God will bless them with His gift of perfect peace.

Summary: Made in Hollywood
Review: The Story line in this book was manufactured to exploit thesupernatural for the motion picture industry...This will make intenseand suspenseful movie fodder. The book is full of embellishments to enhance its screen adaptations. The suspense seemed artificial and lacked credibility...

Summary: Read it in ONE day!
Review: I attended Ms. Jones book signing in CT.. She was there with her family and her son Michael. They were open to all questions being asked of them. I bought the book and went home and started reading it. I could not put it down until 1:30 AM when I finished it. I felt not only this family's helplessness, isolation and fear but their strength, hope and love. Now if that isn't a good book, a book that can make you "feel" I don't know what is. Ms. Jones writes in her Author's Note: "a few of the scenes depicted have been reconfigured and enhanced for clarity and dramatic impact drawing on sometimes differing memories..." There is no deception. She writes this in the beginning of the book. A few scenes were "enhanced, dramatic impact" why? for clarity...to make it concise and clear what they were experiencing so we would understand what it felt like. This is the Jones'experience. I thought the book was excellent. Emotional impact/easy reading/flows well. I highly recommend it! I read it so fast and it was soooo good I think I will read it again!:) However, with all my enthusiasm for the book I do empathize and send this family prayers. Love and light to you Denice and Michael. May God and his angels watch over you.

Summary: A page turner !
Review: I completely agree with the review of the reader from Seattle.I as a non-native speaker of the English language was already wondering myself how the words "believe" and "disappointed" are spelled lately. What a strange coincidence if A FEW(?)people living in the USA use the same spelling!I greatly enjoyed reading this very well written book.It is a wonderful story of how the love of a family can give you the strength to deal with all kind of negative influence.I really can recommend it !
