Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Touching, but lacking in literary expertise Review: While the book is incredibly informative, it is obvious that Christopher Reeve is an actor and not an author. A very easy read (one or two sittings), and definitely a thought provoking autobiography.Worth reading

Review: This book was so insightful to the 'feelings' of a man in what seems to be an impossible situation. I learned so much that is helpful to me because a friend recently experienced an accident that left him a quadrepalegic. It will help me to relate and to empathise with him. My thanks to Christopher Reeves for giving us a look into his world.

Review: This book tells a sad but hopeful story and makes one think that all things happen for a reason. Chris is such a Superman in real life that he was choosen to lead the path like the parting of the red sea. The book is in his words and as factual as he remembers... this is his story / told his way. I just purchased the audio version and I can't wait to hear Chris read it to me with his beautiful vioce. It portrays his life pre and post his injury and shines hope for the future.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I Could Not Put It Down Review: The riveting autobiography by one of the world's most fascinating people made all the more remarkable that it was done by Reeve himself with only the help of a transcriber--he is, after all, the son of two writers. Reeve wisely interweaves his account of the accident and its aftermath with his equally interesting previous life. To do otherwise would be too intense. There is tragedy here, but there is also love, humor, and an unbounded zest for life--in whatever form that life may take. Anyone whose heart is not made of stone will profit from reading this intelligent and remarkably candid autobiography.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: what an inspiration Review: This book made me want to stand up and cheer and I am so grateful that I *can* stand up. It was an amazing testament to man's adaptability and perseverance. Christopher Reeve really is a super man. His ordeal makes my ordinary run of the mill daily trials seem awfully insignificant. I am awed by his will, his faith and his committment to helping others and making some good come from his accident. I too, am impressed by the fact that he doesn't blame his horse for the accident.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Wonderful book! It provides inspiration to all. Review: How anyone can think this is a poorly written biography is beyond me! I've read worse. This book tells about a man who has been through so much, a man who was minutes away from losing his life and lived to be role model for thousands upon thousands. There aren't many of us out there who can share that same light. I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy this with it being out on hardback. If it was in paperback I wouldn't have hesitated but I read the first chapter anyway off on Amazon.com and went right out and bought it. It's money well spent in my opinion. But mine's just one in six billion.
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: I enjoyed reading chapter one Review: I am disable and can only have the left index finger to type with. When I found "Still me" and chapter one on the internet and could read chapter one on the internet I was very much pleased. I have to lay on my bed to turn the pages. Would it be possiable to put the whole book on the internet. It would truly make it a lot easier and faster especially for the disable to read. I am wheelchair boud and can not feed or dress myself. I have to depend on my parents for everything.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: More than a celluloid hero. Review: In this autobiography, Reeve shows himself to be a real, live hero. For me, a hero is someone who, when faced with the worst possible situation, can turn, look it in the eye, and go on to beat the odds. This inspirational book introduces us to the man behind the handsome movie star face. Even before the terrible accident, Reeve's approach toward life paints the picture of a competitive man with a zest for life. In the face of adversity and self-doubt, he proves that he is a person who has what is takes to meet his challenges head on. He doesn't sugar coat his situation. Instead, he presents his story in a reflective and balanced way. I gained admiration for him, his wife, Dana, and his children. I wish him and his family well in their quest for a cure. I'm sure though that whatever the future holds for this man, he and and his family willl give it everything they have. This book is a must read. It touched my heart.
