Summary: Deep thoughts and expierences he shares with the world
Review: this book is a wake up call for everybody to know that life brings up many issues we would never expect. this is a story which tells us that crises are also gifts. a story about a servant who became a master. a man who struggled for life and did it with the help of his beloved family.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent!
Review: I recently read Christopher Reeve's book titled "Still Me" and I thought it was an excellent book. As a person with a disability myself, I could identify with everything that Mr. Reeve said in his book especially the part where he travels around and speaks publicly about his disability. I think that people should be educated about disabilities because most people think of a person with a disability as being helpless and they're really not. I also want to tell Christopher Reeve not to give up hope that he might walk again one day. I admire his courage and determination.

Summary: Awesome!!!
Review: Mr. Reeve is a Champion for people with disabilities. There is not much that I can say to sum up what I felt after reading this book. I think it was Just a real eye-opener on what he cant do now, but also what he can. He may not be able to sail again, but god-willing, he will walk!

Summary: A disjointed story of a charmed life.
Review: I admire Christopher Reeve for all he has accomplished before and after becoming disabled, however, this tale of his life is confusing and disjointed in its sequencing. Events are not chronological. For example, he tells of seeing his grandfather three times in twenty years and then jumps to another topic. He jumps from his life with Gae Exton to Dana and back again with other events thrown in between. Shorter chapters in chronological order would have made this book more interesting. And while I have sympathy for the tragedy which befell him, how many others have suffered this fate without the benefits of individual attention by doctors, nurses, security guards, and more. While recovering in the hospital after the accident,Chris mentions he didn't like the food. A chef at a nearby restaurant offered to cook him anything he would like at no charge. Is this the norm? I think not.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Informative, touching, and personal.
Review: Christopher Reeve tells us everything about his life in amazing clarity. As if we were peering over his shoulder the whole way, we get to see his ups, downs, and personal struggles in an honest, frank manner.

The book also doubles as his push for greater public understanding about paraplegics and their constant struggles. He is our messenger from a world most of us hardly know or even stop to think about...until now.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Truly thought entertaining and thought provoking.
Review: Mr. Reeves not only tells of the terrible accident which has left him a quadraplegic but he befriends the reader in a way few authors can. The reader travels through his childhood and into the theatre lights, following the young mans cautious steps into adulthood, relationships and celebrity, the book carries the reader onto the stage and into the spotlight with the superhero we all know. We are introduced to the famous people who helped shape his career, the ones who could have ended it and the family he loves so dearly. This book makes one think about the things we take for granted in our everyday life, the things that we put off doing and those we would miss the most if faced with such a radical life change. The book also shows how Mr. Reeves condition has been lovingly accepted by his family and how he has no intention of being a spectator to their life or his. This is about a man who has been delt one of the cruelest hands in life yet has chosen to play it with signity and humour. I recommend "Still Me" to everyone.

Summary: wow
Review: I was never a "devoted" fan of Christopher Reeves, but I did enjoy him and his work, soafter seeing reports of his accident and snipits of his return to work I wanted to hear about the "road back". After listening to him on audio tape I must say that even with the horse show accident, with his loving wife, family, friends, fans and supporters, Christopher Reeves leads a charmed life. Thank you so much for sharing it with us in book.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: An inspirational read but sometimes slow.
Review: Who can't help but feel for what happened to Christopher Reeve and his family. A true tragedy. But it is amazing how a positive attitude about a desperate situation makes you realize how resillient we can be if we try.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I found this book to be spiritually inspiring and personal.
Review: I highly recommend this book to anyone. It is truly fascinating how one person could be suffering yet see the strength that he could and does share with others. Truly a blessing.
