Summary: How we deceive ourselves
Review: While this book is essential to anyone interested in Speer, it should be read also by anyone interested in the art or psychology of deception. For all his public breast-beating, Speer never really came 100% clean with the public, his friends, or himself. He knew more about slavery and murder than he ever let on.

Since none of us are perfectly honest with or about ourselves, we can all learn a lesson here, even though, thanks be to God, we have nothing half so terrible to cover up.
