Summary: Boy Clinton tells it how it is.
Review: Boy Clinton explains how Clinton became so corrupt and shedslight about little known scandals such as Mena drug-running with DanLasater. It backs up everything is says and scanned documents to back up Mena. I recommend it to anyone who want to know the truth on our corrupt president Boy Clinton.

Summary: Like catnip
Review: Contrary to other reviews listed here, this contains many facts--and most aren't in dispute. This book gives you a true picture of both Clintons, not the spin images of the national media. My complaint? Tyrrell is not the writer he thinks his is, and the style grows tiresome.

Summary: Bill Clinton: Power and Scandal from Arkansas to Washington
Review: From Whitewater to Paula Jones, Mr. Tyrell has chronicled an unflattering portrayal of our president and his scandals. With wit and sarcasm this author leads the us through a rise to power beginning with an unlikely poor boy from a sleepy hollow called Hope, who grows up to become the Rhode scholar at Georgetown and Yale Law School, Governor of Arkansas, and finally President of the United States. This is a book for the serious political scholar or persons interested in modern day presidential politics.

Summary: Pretty complete diagnosis - for the Bill Clinton novice !
Review: I really enjoy Bob Tyrrell in his columns, in his fearless magazine; "The American Spectator", and when i'm able to see him castigate the elite media on TV. However, this book was disappointing in that it failed to delve into more proof of Bill Clinton's MANIPULATIVE dishonesty. Still, EXCELLENT reading for the average Joe who still believes this Snopes of the Kultursmog !

Summary: Like catnip
Review: I'm sure Mr. Tyrrell would be pleased to know that Steve Kangas not only read the book before his suicidal attempt to assassinate Richard Scaife (no doubt inspired by all the compassion and love of such Clintonistas as Sidney Blumenthal, James Carville, and Larry Flynt), but even gave it a star.

Summary: Good Title, Lousy Book
Review: If Bill Clinton survives the current mess he's in, it won't be because he's such a genius, but because his enemies are such unbalanced, fire-breathing ninnies that he looks like an innocent schoolboy by comparison. He isn't. He's a cynical climber whose politics shifts with the winds of public opinion, and he seems quite willing to use anyone and everyone around him in his efforts to make that climb and stay on top.

But to read Mr. Tyrell and assorted other right-wing critics, you'd think that Clinton is the Anti-Christ. The pot-smoking, drug-running, obstacle-murdering Anti-Chist whose mission in life is to deliver us into the hands of the baby-eating, devil-worshipping, lesbian communists of the Tri-Lateral Commission. And then there's the sex and money stuff he may actually be guilty of, but that seems small potatoes by comparison.

There are reasons to dislike and disapprove of Clinton, reasons that I, who voted for him twice, now hold. But this silly, excessive volume includes almost none of them, and what it does include makes me wonder if the term "conserviative intellectual" is in danger of becoming an oxymoron.

Summary: MORE FROM BOB TYRRELL!
Review: If you liked Bob Tyrrell's hard-hitting and bestselling Boy Clinton, you'll love his newest book--The Impeachment of William Jefferson Clinton ($24.95 hardcover, available on amazon.com)! As Ben Stein comments, "A terrifying journey through the nine circles of Clinton's inferno. Essential reading for those who want to see where Bill Clinton and his contempt for law have led us."

Summary: Reckless disregard for facts
Review: If you love to hate Bill Clinton, this book is for you. It's sort of a detailed catalog of the kind of often baseless, always careless, allegations the spastically critical Tyrrell has been spouting for all these years in his slander sheet, The American Spectator (who's publication has been funded largely by covert rabid-right wingers with known links to racist organizations). In those few cases where the allegations that he repeats are founded on more then greatly strained circumstantial evidence and shameless innuendo, Tyrrell, like Ken Starr, is quite pleased to pass along, without qualification, the word of paid convicted purjorers as if it were reliable fact. If you aren't one of those insipid morons, you won't want to be guilty of contributing to the coffers of this shill. Read it from the library.
