Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Kick...! Review: Aside from an incoherant forward by Sean Penn, this book kicks ...! Whether you're a real tough guy or [not], Chuck Zito's story will put your own exploits in perspective. It's the fast, entertaining, well written story of an American icon that too few people know about. In a time of foppish, flippant yuppies and ...disrespectful wrestlers- this book will make you long for the days when being a man actually meant something. All hail the king- Chuck Zito!
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: waste of time Review: Chuck Zito may have grown up a tough kid, but he never managed to mature into a logically thinking adult. So what if he can beat people up; he doesn't have enough brains to realize he has the same mentality of today's teenage gang member. Respect? Phooey! You don't need to have everybody fear you to respect you. And as far as the Hell's Angels, there are 99% a criminal organization, and maybe 1% law abiding, if you can swallow that. Chucky and the HA can all go to hell as far as I am concerned.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Roaring good read Review: Figuring that I owed the author for flattening Van Damme, I purchased this book with little expectation other than reading a collection of head banging stories. Instead, I found a well written biography of a man whose sense of honor, guides him through a very interesting life. The biography follows the author from early childhood, through his boxing and martial arts training, into his membership with the Hell's Angel's, his ability to customize cars and motorcycles, his bodyguarding business, prison time and his career in the acting field. Here is a personality who is equally at home with outlaw motorcyclists, celebrities and the nightlife club scene. Yet he gives the impression that the average guy could be a valued friend. The reader is left with the impression that while the author might knock you out if you challenged his honor, he wouldn't steal your wallet while you were out cold. Nor would he allow anyone else to take it. Likewise his relationship with his parents rings a familar note to all us middle age baby boomers, who share feelings of unresolved issues, guilt and faded memories of our own relationships with our parents. A well written, entertaining book with plenty of photos. Get this one. Zito has inspired me. Tonight I am buying a Harley to cruise around on. But I better help my wife with the dishes first or she will clobber me.

For someone who doesn't read much I went through this book in three days. What an inspirational story! This guy is one of the few good guys left in this world who isn't afraid to stand up for his beliefs and fight for his family, his life story is one that makes you feel good to known that he came out on top. This is one everyone should read

This man has lived his life to the fullest and has not been enfluenced to walk the line most of us do. I admire him, He has stood up for what he believes and it has taken him far in life.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: A Likeable Guy Comes Clean Review: I liked this book alot. Chuck comes clean with his own insecurities and regrets even though he lives the 'tough guy' life. It is an honest monologue about growing up in NY and becoming involved in a lifestyle that todays posers want to emulate but can't. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to know more about Chuck Zito, who obviously set his own course and sailed it.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: he beat up jean claude van damm he cant be a bad guy ! Review: I read this book in a period of about 4 days it was very interesting to say the least. The book of course starts from when he was a kid going all the way through adulthood to his role on oz and the jobs he has had between bodyguard, bouncer. I know there was a ghost writer but i think the thing that kept it from a 5 star book for me was the constant park the car, get off the bike and punch somebodys lights out and keep going we all know that he and the angels are all tough guys no need to keep putting it in peoples faces through the whole book but I enjoyed reading it.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The REAL Rocky Balboa... Review: No, not Sly Stallone. Chuck Zito. I've never been the violent type. But I can't say I've never wanted to sock someone in the lip for mouthing off. Let's just say that I was able to live vicariously through Chuck Zito's autobiography. What I found to be most interesting was the level of detail associated with his stories of brutality. Additionally, he gives a SCARY account of prison - it's no wonder HBO hired him as a consultant/actor for the hit series OZ. WARNING: This book is not for the squeamish. His book is graphic and often times disturbing - just the kind of reading material to keep my attention! Now, I'm not one to read a book cover-to-cover over the course of three days. But this was just "one of those books" I couldn't put down. If you're interested in a first-hand account of bike gangs, violence, and prison, then this is the book for you. I would venture to say that the most memorable part of this book was the beatdown Chuck Zito delivered to Jean-Claude VanDamm at Scores Gentleman's Club in New York City - it's classic. Upon reading this book, I couldn't help but realize how truly "boring" my life was in the context of things. Please feel free to disagree with my opinion; let us compare opinions, invite a few more points of view, and debate, like the humans we are.

He tells tales of his family life and life inside the Hell's Angels. The book is well written and very interesting. I enjoyed every page. It is a fascinating tale of a true tough New Yorker.
