Rating: Summary: Funniest damn book I've ever read! Review: There is a reason that Howard Stern is called The King Of All Media, and this book shows you why. He is funny, honest, and real to himself and to his wife. He stayed the same over the years. He didn't sell out to improve his ratings, his ratings came because of the way he is. He is the man! He is The King Of All Media!
Rating: Summary: HE HE HE HE HE Review: A little unorganized... as we know, he wrote this in a hurry, and has a tendency to exaggerate and obviously a bitter man in some passages, but a funny book. Almost as good as "Tess of the D'Ubervilles." But I prefered the original working title, "I, Moron: King of All Idiots."
Rating: Summary: Thank you howard Stern Review: This was the first time I picked up a book and didn't put it down, until it was over. Howard's book expresses the reality of life and how a boy and his dream came to.
Rating: Summary: Best book I have ever read Review: The book Private Parts was the first time I picked up a book without putting it down. Why can't some of the other celebrities tell the truth. Why are they so afraid? Why isn't Howard afraid to tell it all, the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.....
Rating: Summary: A hysterical look into one man's life and ideas Review: I not a big Stern fan, but when I picked this up for reading on an international flight, I was surprised on how much fun this book is. Howard interjects bits of his philosophy into part of his life, which makes it an entertaining book to read. Even if a chapter is dedicated to Butt Bongos or Homosexuals, they are funny and interesting. Hey, even my mother liked this book.
Rating: Summary: The funniest book I ever read Review: I loved this book and I just love Howard Stern. This was the funniest and raunchiest book I ever read. This tells the story of Howard's rise to the top and gives an interesting account of all of the bumps in the road along the way. It was the bomb.
Rating: Summary: I could not put this book down!! Review: I had never seen or listened to any Howard Stern shows before reading this book so I did not know exactly what to expect. What I pleasantly discovered within the pages of this book was the most entertaining autobiography I have read in my life. The length of the book scared me a little when I first saw it but I finished it in no time. Just a great great book! Good work Howard!
Rating: Summary: The Dostoyevsky of Our Time Review: There was Shakespear, Dickens, and Dostoyevsky. Now we have Stern. Howard Stern, best selling author of two books (Private Parts and Miss America), is America's "real" celebrity. There is not one bit of information that Stern has not revealed, except, perhaps, his earnings. No other celebrity has a number one morning radio show, television show, two best selling books, a movie, and the ability to influence politics. Howard Stern is not only king of all media, he is king of the average individuals -- who can relate to true humor -- the humor that comes from the inner person, not the repressed individual trying to be funny but not "offend." This is the Dostoyevsky of the 90s -- and a greater hero than any vereran who has ever served in America or any nation.
Rating: Summary: LONG LIVE STERN Review: Have you ever seen a hot woman and asked yourself how many times a day she moves her bowels? Neither have I, but Howard has. He is hilariously funny, and sometimes painfully honest, but always entertaining. For those of you who don't like his show, and you know who you are, there is something for you too (plus you become brainwashed into listening). BABA BOOEY!
Rating: Summary: Stern Rules Review: Lesbians, pot, Fred, and Ben Stern, what more does one need? In a society that refuses to face controversy, Stern's frankness on taboo issues is refreshing and hilarious.
