Rating: Summary: great reading Review: great readin
Rating: Summary: Honest, touching, hilarious...a must read Review: This is an amazing books. I'm a big fan of autobiographies, from Gandhi to Richard Branson, and I have to say this is thee best autobiography I have ever come across. The raw honesty, the break down of his mystique, and anecdotes for all the years that new fans have missed. BUY THIS BOOK!
Rating: Summary: What a blast! Review: Private Parts is a blast. Not as big a blast as Howard's next movie Fartman will be, but nonetheless it's pretty explosive. Funny, too. I never knew Howard's waters ran so deep. He is truly a multi-dimentional man of mystery. That's why I wrote Getting To Howard: The Odyssey of an Obsessed Howard Stern Fan. Included in my book is a chapter detailing my experiences as an extra in the movie adaptation of Private Parts. F-Jackie!
Rating: Summary: The King of All Media shares all Review: This has to be one of the best books I have ever read. It provides an insight to the man, the myth, the legend, Howard Stern. It is downright hilarious! A must for any fan of the show!!!
Rating: Summary: KING OF ALL MEDIA! Review: This book is great. I really enjoyed reading about Howard as a shy little kid. Who knew he turn into such a monster! He really has some great stories in this book. The book is great!
Rating: Summary: Amazingly funny. Review: It's amazing in Argentina to think in a radio character so politically incorrect to become succesfull. It opens a wide range in my mind about the media and its sense. It helps me to find where are my limits about joking. Personally, I think he's very hipocrital about a lot of issues, and too patriot but that's part of the danger that attracts me to him. I cant wait to rent the movie and buy his second book.
Rating: Summary: Hilariously amusing Review: Do you want a book that is going to make you fall off your seat laughing histerically......then this is your book. Never before will you ever find a man that takes his life as more of a joke than the one's he tells. Sure you may think that he's a little perverted at times but he's just looking at life the way we all should, one BIG joke, even though he has the world's smallest boy parts!
Rating: Summary: THE BEST BOOK I HAVE EVER READ!!! Review: I think this book is the best book I have ever read. I have read a lot of books and this is the only book I could read without ever putting it down. Well I did put it down. I recomend everyone to buy this book even if you are not a Howard Stern fan. Finally some truth from a celeberety.
Rating: Summary: Perverse, Brilliant, and Downright Funny! Review: I originally purchased this book for my husband, but ended up reading it myself. Never has a book moved to tears...OF LAUGHTER. This is one of the funniest books I've ever read, in spite of the sometimes raw language and detailed accounts of bodily functions. Just like Stern himself, you'll either love this book or you'll hate it. I loved it!
Rating: Summary: okay Review: This reads like a high school sophomore's diary he wrote knowing his friends would read it. It's kind of dumb, but entertaining. If Howard hadn't hawked this thing hour after hour on his radio show, it would hardly have been a best-seller. People (including me) were buying the sizzle, and not the steak. One thing about Howard that comes across in this book is that he is a hypocrite. He thinks because he puts himself down, it's okay for him to put down others. But if someone ELSE puts him down...he gets upset. He dishes it out, but can't take it....
