Summary: FANTASTIC!
Review: Ok,ok,ok!!! I am a woman. I should be condemning this book. I should be burning pages as we speak but I can't help myself...I love Howard Stern!! The only mistake that I made was seeing the movie first. It made the book a little less dramatic but nonetheless, I laughed my a** off! At the beginning of the Howard Stern Experience I found him insulting, rude and just a big jerk but after seeing the movie and reading the book, I found him to be an honest, real person. Maybe a little too honest but hey, at least he doesn't kiss everyone's a** and expect everyone to like him. He says what he feels and does what he feels is true to himself and for that I respect him. The book is entertaining, a little embarrassing and a little rude but believe me you will laugh!! The best book I ever read in the bathroom and fitting!! All kidding aside, it was one of the best and true autobiographies I have ever read. Howard Stern is truly the King of All Media. Maybe he should give the Queen a break though!!

Summary: Funniest Book I've Ever Read
Review: Yes, this is the funniest book I have ever read. I was never really into the Howard Stern Show, only listening sometimes while my dad drives me to school (I'm 14), but this book changed me, and now I love listening to the show in the morning. It gets me ready for school I suppose.

The book goes into the many parts of Howards life. It tells you how he his father used to treat him, and his mother as well. It really makes you wonder how he survived in a house like that. It tells of his college experiences with women and radio. It tells about all his old bosses, such as Pig Virus (read the book). The book was funny through the beginning but once he hits the part where he talks about the celebs he hates, it really gets hilarious, just read what he thinks of Madonna, or Regis, or Kathie-Lee. I could go on and on. The chapter with Stuttering John is hilarious as well. I never knew Baba-Booey was their first interviewer.

All in all, this is a very, very good well written book. It's very light reading, so I can recommend it to pretty much anyone. Be aware that the amount of cursing is borderline extreme though, but it's nothing a person age 12+ hasn't heard before.

Summary: Hilarious!
Review: Might be the funniest book I've ever read. Had me laughing my ass off from beginning to end! The movie was a lot different from the book. I liked the movie but its nowhere near as funny as the book.

Summary: Howard¿s first media shattering book
Review: If you thought he was funny on the air (radio and/or TV) but what til you get a read of even a little bit of "Private Parts". The life story of Howard is quite inspirational. Between fumbling accounts with girls that may give an average guy self esteem to just plain scary parents that make you think life with your isn't so bad. The life story part is really nice but Howard really cooks when he talks about his radio family. As if we didn't know before, Fred is scary, but did you know he also used to be scary with a cap? Even juicer tidbits are reveled when Howard goes off on famous and just plain infamous celebs. Always honest, even when it hurts. His rant on what he celebs he hates is the best. It's not something that can be written down here. You just have to read what he says about Madonna, among others. Did you know Regis had a disabled song that he wouldn't help through college? It's true and Howard comes to his rescue. Another highlight is his focus on stars made from the show like Jessica Hahn (who looks great in the pics) and Richard Simmons (look for the photo of him dressed like a man for once).

This is the one of the most entertaining books around that actaully has great story's to go with all its fun stuff. This is greatly constructed book of fun for fans and maybe even non-fans to get to know Howard more. This paperback has great additional stuff that more his tour promoting the book. It's something you have to read to understand. A very funny book, but you have to have a good sense of humor and no prudes. I would have to say that their are parts of "Miss America" I like more because it is more concentrated while this talks about his entire career up to 1993. Get both because you certainty can't read just one.

Summary: Long Live The King!
Review: First of all, there's a ton of foul language here... so beware if that offends you. (But if you're a Howard fan, I doubt it will.) How does this book compare with the movie? Better, actually. This goes a lot more in depth about aspects of his life that, for time constraints, the movie couldn't. You either "get" Howard or you don't & I don't believe many who "don't" will ever appreciate the brutal honesty that separates him from the run of the mill show business celebrity/phony. Buy this along with MISS AMERICA and have yourself a laugh-fest! (Also good for humor that's a bit on the raunchy side are THAT'S DISGUSTING : AN ADULT GUIDE TO WHAT'S GROSS, TASTELESS, RUDE, CRUDE, AND LEWD and NO ONE'S EVEN BLEEDING.)

Summary: Revenge of the Ultimate Nerd!
Review: I knew very little about Stern but he had a very interesting life. I guess if he were not famous he would just be another nerd. He proved time and again how wrong all the people he worked for were! The ultimate revenge of the nerds story.

The story of his co-host Robin is also very intriguing. Forget the circus atmosphere that his tv show presents and lose yourself in this book for a compelling read.

Summary: Laugh Out Loud Hysterical
Review: If you want a book that will make you laugh out loud on every single page, then this is the book for you. It is also in introspective look at Howard Stern's formative years. You want to know what constantly yelling at your kid and calling him stupid will do, read this book. HA!
Lay back, relax and laugh. If you are depressed it will be a great pick me up.

Summary: I Expected Better
Review: Even though this book was unbalanced (It was a far better movie) I did enjoy some of its savory parts, private and otherwise. But let's face facts, Howard is a sensationalist thriving in a market that is now hungry for his perverse kind of banter. My only problem with his writing is that it is slightly demoralizing and demeaning towards men, women, midgets, geeks, and semi-retarded invalids. The fact that he has 18 million listeners does not speak well for the I.Q. quota of our nation.
