Summary: Great book
Review: This is one of the greatest war books I have read. Hartmann was a master pilot; I was really impressed. You really like the guy after you finish the book, even though he was on the other side. Anyone who loves WWII, aviation, or just a good read should buy this book. (I am a girl and I never thought this would appeal to me, but even if I had not been a history major I would have LOVED IT! )

Summary: Outstanding Read!!
Review: Top Ace Erich Hartmann is one of the most outstanding Fighter Pilots to ever fly any aircraft Period! The highest scoring ace of all time during WWII. I doubt any one else will ever catch or surpass his number of 352 kills!! This guy was so deadly and accurate that he would come back most of his missions with half of his ammo still left, even after he shot down 7 or 8 enemy aircraft! He would try to shoot you down with one shell and did that a couple of times. Awesome!!

Must read for everyone.
