Summary: Shout the truth about Clinton from the rooftops!
Review: Why does a journalist from Britain have to be the one to blow the whistle on a corrupt American President? That is one of the questions which come to mind when reading "The Secret Life of Bill Clinton: The Unreported Stories." Perhaps it is because Evans-Pritchard has no partisan axe to grind and is not intimidated by accusations of "conspiracy theory", "right-wing fanatic" or "government hater." It is clear that the tactics so often employed by the Clinton administration to silence its critics have not been effective on Evans-Pritchard. He has dared to tell the unvarnished truth and he has included the documentation necessary to silence those who, for one reason or another, cannot bear to hear it. Bill Clinton is a liar, a cocaine user, an opportunist with no regard for humanity, and a scourge on the American political scene. Unlike the attack dogs of the Clinton Administration, Pritchard does not blame the American people for the current political climate infecting Washington D.C. He lays the blame where it rightly belongs - in the lap of the President himself. Evans-Pritchard is to be commended for doing what most American journalists have refused to do - reporting the worst abuses of Presidential power in American history.

Summary: The title is misleading, but the book is GREAT
Review: If 80% of the book is hogwash, and only 20% is true, America is still in great trouble. I know nothing about how Vince Foster died. But being a pilot in Oklahoma, and living just over the hill from Elohim City, my personal knowledge suggests that much of the book is true. The appendix, full of photocopies of FBI/DEA interrogations and reports, is alone worth the price of the book. Those documents cast a great deal of doubt on the recent Denver trials of McVeigh and Nichols.

Summary: This Englishman connected the dots
Review: I never put stock into Clinton conspiracy theories. However, being familiar with this author at least tempted me to read this book. Upon finishing it yesterday, I can only say "truth, indeed, may be stranger than fiction." It was a fascinating and scary read. The only reason I'm tempted to believe it is the author's impeccable credibility. His research "connected the dots" where there were gaps before. Even the most die-hard Clinton apologist must admit the Travelgate affair was sick, lest s/he possess a criminal morality. I did find a proof-reading error on p.259; Mena is in the mountains of WESTERN Arkansas, not eastern. I only hope the rest of the book was proofread more acutely. But even if just 10% of the book is accurate, it would still be scary! I am impressed with the author's balanced approach in those areas where circumstances could be interpreted differently; that he points this out at all supports his validity as an author and researcher.

Summary: Dirty Dealings in Southern Politics
Review: After reading "The Secret Life Of Bill Clinton" by Ambrose Evans-Pritchard I will never look at politics in the South the same way again. I will most certainly never view our Justice Department with unquestioning faith now that I have read about a few of their activities in this book. The information presented is clear and easily understood, without the usual media spin-doctors telling us how they'd like us to interpet it. There were so many questions regarding the death of Vincent Foster that the mainstream media never answered. This book deals openly with them all. And with Terry Nichols on trial as I write, the section dealing with the Oklahoma City bombing was absolutely fascinating. Nothing I have read or seen in the media provided any useful information at all about Timothy McVeigh or Oklahoma City compared to the information found here. All the information about the politics in Arkansas was both useful and frightening. I will never again walk the streets of Hot Springs, Arkansas with a feeling of security. The Dixie Mafia's political "Machine" is still alive and well there and this book provides names of some of it's key figures, many of whom appear in the Arkansas paper on a regular basis. Anyone living in the South absolutely must read this book. Anyone concerned about the United States of America must read this book. It is more than an expose of the Clintons. It is an expose of a corrupt political system and an incestuous Washington, D.C. that cares more about having a good time and looking good than it does about results. This book is a must read.

Summary: Give this book to everyone on your shopping list.
Review: Evans-Pritchard's style is soft-spoken and refined, but the stories
he reports are shocking. This book is meticulously documented,
and his reputation as a journalist is impeccable. Robert Novak
writes of Evans-Pritchard, "Wherever he is and whatever he is doing,
he is a dogged, tireless, shoe-leather reporter... Assigned by
the Sunday Telegraph of London to Washington, he dug
into stories that the vast capital press corps would not touch."

"The Secret Life of Bill Clinton" is about the effects of corruption on our government and our society.
What liberals and Democrats must come to realize is that Clinton is not
a man of the people or a friend to the Little Guy. He's only
interested in getting and keeping power, and he will do whatever he has to for that end.
AEP writes about the ordinary people whose lives have been wrecked by intersecting wih Bill Clinton's swath to power.

Summary: What a waste of trees used to print this thing
Review: Fortunately, I borrowed this from the library so I didn't waste any money on it. The only thing that kept me from giving the book a 1 was the entertaining nature of the charges. After a while, you just have to laugh! What truly strains the author's credibility is the assertion that President Clinton is directly responsible for everything from the Oklahoma City bombing to a teacher in Arkansas' foreclosed mortgage. If he's really THIS powerful, people like the author, Aldridge, and Limbaugh would have been shut up LONG ago. If you enjoy anti-Clinton conspiracy theories and STILL can't accept the election results, then you'll probably LOVE this book -- and I guess buying it is better than sending the money to the militias. However, if you don't fit that tiny sub-group, don't waste your money.

Summary: Further thought suggested for every reader of Secret Life...
Review: You will find _The Secret Life of Bill Clinton_ very readable, and well documented. It reminds me of the earlier work _None Dare Call it Treason_ by John Stormer. And, like Stormer's earlier work, I expect the "accepted media" will yell and scream, using arguments of ridicule and personal attacks on the author. But this work, like Stormer's is well documented, and in the end I believe we will find that the critics will fail to discredit any of the facts; they will have to settle for yelling and screaming. But the real danger is that they may accede to the author's allegations and then try to apply "damage control" limiting the liability for the corruption we have in the White House to only Bill and the Dixie Mafia. Do not be fooled. Our real problem is larger, and deeper. The author dies not address this per. se. in his text but your should think about it. HOW has our "Free press" in America allowed Mr Clinton and his associates to go so far with their corruption?

Summary: Amorality at its best
Review: Despite the voluminous documentation of corruption and callous disregard for the ethical standards of the offices in which Mr. Clinton has held, this book points the finger of damnation directly at the American political system itself. Evans-Pritchard's detachment from the typical biases of American political reporting has allowed him to disperse blame on both sides of the aisle. After reading this book you will not only know what Bill Clinton has been party to, but why he can get away with it time and again. It is not possible to read this book with an open mind and not come away with serious misgivings as to the direction our political process has taken.

Summary: Shame on you Bill Clinton and Shame on us America!
Review: I think the thing that really got my blood boiling was how ordinary people have been treated by U.S. representatives as described in this book. This book exposes the immense evil syndicate that our governmet has become. Ambrose clearly tells how we got where we are, regarding this administration. We have had our blinders on and it is past time for us to take them off. I for one will be handing this book, (and others like it) to friends, family and co-workers. This book is yet another piece of what may well lead this country to a much needed second Revolution.
