Summary: Never dull.
Review: This is an excellent book in that all five members have equal say in what it was like being Aerosmith. They're brutally honest about themselves and what has happened to their lives in and out of the band. A lot of the stories are funny, others will have you shaking your head and none of it is dull. None of the people in this book pull any punches and the author does a good job of just staying out the way and letting people tell their stories.

Summary: the Best Book
Review: I Have read this book three times It is the best book I have ever read

Summary: One of the most moving stories ever.
Review: It is rather amazing to see how Stephen Davis manage to bring the story together. It is honest and heart-felt. Told from many perspectives, the story surprisingly does not focus on the lives of Aerosmith but on what rotates and manipulates their lives. This can be quite difficult for non-hard core fans to get on with in the beginning but later it becomes intense, will be hard to put down. The last part is rather disappointing as it seems to be used for the promotion of the new album.

Summary: Two thumbs way up! Best autobiography I have ever read!
Review: I love Aerosmith and that still did NOT have an effect on how I thought the book was. Walk This Way is probably the best autobiography I have ever read. I loves how they put the different characters with a bold title so you could always go back and say, "Ohhh... that was Joe Perry!" Superb book!

Summary: Totally Inspiring
Review: I am 13 and I read it about a year ago. It inspired me so much. I found out the real story about what taking drugs are like, and that you should stand up for what you belive in. There are also some funny things that the guys in the band say, so there is a comic relief! This is in all a GREAT book. I give it 5 stars. Speaking of... Go Dallas Stars!

Summary: IF YOU ARE AN AEROSMITH FAN YOU MUST READ THIS!!
Review: I have always been a major Aerosmith fan! I have always enjoyed their music. It was great to be able to read about their career through the decades. They have been through so much together. I give a lot of credit to all of their wives for sticking with them through it all. This is a must read book if you are a real Aerosmith fan. I have to tell you that some friends of ours and my husband and I had some tickets to go see Aerosmith at the Gorge in Washington (state) and after we were there the concert was cancelled. I had just ordered my "Walk this Way" book so instead of going to the concert we played Aerosmith cds and I read parts of the book to them for most of the day. When we got back our local radio station had a contest to win lunch for two at local casino. The question was "What movie inspired the song Walk this Way?", our friends won this contest because I had just read this part of the book to them that weekend. We thought that was pretty cool. I hope they continue to make new music. They are the best band ever and just keep getting better!!

Summary: One of the more amazing stories that I've ever read!!
Review: I found the history of the band to be absolutely fascinating. I've listened to zillions of live boots over the years and NO ONE rocks harder than Aerosmith.

I was expecting to be amazed by the music/drugs part of the story (and I was!). However, I didn't anticipate being moved to tears by parts of the book, like when Liv realizes that Steven is her father.

By the end of the book I really felt that these guys live in a state of grace.
