Summary: A great book to read!
Review: This was a very good book and i could not put it down, i read the whole thing straight through. It is good to know that some good has come out of this tragedy and for anyone interested to learn more about this incredible, God-centered girl, i highly recommend this book.

Summary: A book that changed my life!
Review: This heartfelt documentary about Rachel Scott inspired me so much. It makes you sit back and realize what life's really about. I was fortunate enough to hear Darrell Scott speak prior to reading this - and it restated a lot about what he said. Rachel's spiritual life is an incredible testimony. The book also contains a lot about information the media does not tell you. Like the killers were intending to kill Christians and had planned this for months, even videoing themselves months before the murders. I could not put this book down - if you believe in God - Rachel's story will impact your life and hopefully your relationship with Christ!

Summary: She cannot be labeled average
Review: Had Darrell Scott and Beth Nimmo merely described the life of their daughter in their own loving words, this book would still be worth reading; because the dignity with which they write and their well-articulated thoughts will challenge the reader throughout. However, the true gift to whoever may read this book with an open heart are the writings and drawings of Rachel Joy -- a young woman who some may consider an accessible saint. Her innermost thoughts reveal a purity of heart that is rooted from her faith in Jesus Christ. Regardless of your age or beliefs, this truly sublime book is for everyone.

Summary: A Book For Everyone
Review: Whether you are a new Christian, an old Christian, or just want to learn more about Christians, you can't do better than this book. Rachel Scott is a modern day example of what it is like to follow Jesus Christ that I would rate up there with Bible stories of old. I purchased this book after seeing the presentation Rachel's father, Darrell gives. What an uplifting story! It really puts to rest the arguement that todays teens are somehow less than those before. A greater testimony I honestly can't remember. In the face of her greatest adversity Rachel Scott stands tall, then and now. And forever.

Summary: Wow..
Review: I am 16 years old and I recently got back from a Teen Mania missions trip.. I went to an Acquire the Fire youth convention last November, where I first heard about Rachel Scott and a bit of her story. (That's also where I heard about the mission trip too!) Teen Mania is really "taking up the torch", as the book says, by telling young people about her life and her desire to go on a mission trip. SO many people decided to go this summer with Teen Mania because of the video clip they showed of her. I really liked this book because by the end of it, it feels like I know her in a way. The only thing I didn't like about it was the way it was written by both her mom and dad, so they would switch from person to person every few pages and sometimes they'd repeat what the other person had said or tell a whole story over again, but it is worth it to read it! The last few pages are VERY freaky and one of the best parts, but don't skip to the end without reading the whole book first.. She was definitely prepared by God for her death, and I know she's in heaven right now with God. :) It really strengthened my faith reading this book and inspired me a LOT! She was an AMAZING person in Christ.

Summary: Saint Rachel
Review: The book is incredible! It's moving, heartwrenching, inspiring, enlighting and awesome. Rachel proved to be a Saint & Martyr, through her generosity, helpfulness, faith and her many acts of kindness. This book is one of the best I have read. I recommend it to everyone. Anyone can benefit from it. I couldn't put it down. It inspires me to spread even more acts of kindness to people. Her parents did a great job on the book and raising her. It was a very tragic event & touched everyone's heart. The book helps somewhat ease the grief. I know writing it probabily helped her parents. My heart goes out to them & her family.

Summary: Her kingdom was not of this world.
Review: I didn't expect to buy it. (...) Another book on the Columbinetragedy, I thought, and picked up something else. I'm not sure how itwound in my hand, much less in my bag of purchases. I started reading the next day, and didn't stop. I discovered it wasn't another book on the Columbine tragedy. It's a book for parents who try hard, pray hard, to raise their kids to know and love God. It's a book for parents who don't. It's a book to stay on the shelf until younger children are old enough to read it, and most of all, it's a all a book for teenagers who are Christians, and wonder daily whether it's all worth it. It's for teenagers who move about in a scary, hate-filled world of alienation. It's for teenagers who need someone to say to them, "You're making a difference. Every effort you make to be kind and to accept the "unacceptable" is an effort not in vain." Because kids wonder if it's all worth it. I did, at Rachel's age. Rachel's story is a ringing testament to the fact that no one need discount the depth of a young person. "Do not let anyone look down upon your youth," is what Paul said to Timothy. And when Jeremiah bellyached to God about his being too young, God responded, "Do not say 'I am too young', because everywhere I send you, you shall go, and all that I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you." Was Rachel delivered? some will wonder. I suppose that answer ties in with the Man who said, "My kingdom is not of this world."

Summary: Wow! A MUST read!
Review: This book is both tragic and thrilling, a personal story that shows ever so clearly that God still desires a personal relationship with us today, and that the days of God speaking to and through his friends and servants are not over.

When reading this amazing book by Rachel's parents, who have borne more than anyone should have to bear and who have done so with grace and strength available only from God, you will be awe-struck by the insight of a girl who, although only a teenager, knew what it meant to surrender her whole life, literally, to God.

Rachel and her parents are an inspiration and a challenge to those of us who call ourselves Christians to truly walk the walk.

And for all who watched the events of Columbine unfold with a growing sense of horror and despair, here is proof that God is still in control, and that He can and does bring good out of even the most unimaginable evil. I can't recommend this book highly enough.

Summary: An Inside Peek At One Girl's Journey to Serve God
Review: Terrific book! I would not consider myself an avid reader; however, read this book in three hours, never putting it down. I believe Rachel knew her time was limited and indicated accordingly in her journal. A real inspiration! I wish I were able to initiate and maintain such a relationship with the Lord Jesus. May I suggest allowing Rachel's prophetic insights to touch your heart by reading this delightful and eloquent journal of a 17 year girl desperately desiring to serve the Lord!
