Summary: Surprise!
Review: I have to admit, I expected much more hardcore lines, however this book was filled with some really soft and touching verses. He was truly a talented youth who passed way before he should. I highly recommend this book to those who are true poetry fans, whether they are Tupac fans or not they will love this book. Also for those are not into poetry, this will take you there. Lyrical and warm this is a easy afternoon read.

Summary: The Rose That Died Too Young
Review: I've always known this, but this confirms my feelings at a deeper level: 2Pac was an intelligent, deep and insightful young man. As you read the collection, you will also see how troubled he was; how worried he was about life and living. There seems to be something deeper, and as a brother who writes poetry, I know what a blessing it can be to have an outlet for the pain, insecurity and loneliness. I'm just an everyday person. I can live my life in relative obscurity. Pac couldn't do that, so this is his burden laid bared. Buy it, read it, enjoy! I did.

Summary: You will be amazed
Review: If you think you know who Tupac Shakur was then this book of remarkable poetry will amaze you. Shakur's public image was of an out of control thug but his poetry shows an intelligent, educated and even sensitive mind. A genuine American poetic talent has been lost. Even if you would never in a million years listen to Shakur's music give this book a try. You'll be surprised at how much you'll enjoy it.
