Summary: The Only Book That Shows The Real Man Inside
Review: this book showed the true person inside. i learned that through all his sadness he did have a time of happyness and love. but most of all i like this book because it made we feel that i am not the only one that cries, and there is some one that feels the same way i do.

Summary: I WILL TREASURE TUPAC'S BOOK OF POETRY FOR LIFE! I LOVE IT
Review: First of all, I must say that I am the biggest Tupac Shakur fan of all time. I have all of his stuff; from his music, posters, and books; but this book, "The Rose that Grew From Concrete" was so superb. It really touched my heart to be able to actually have the poetry that Tupac wrote during his life. It's just a treasurable thing for me, because it's like I feel even closer to him now. Tupac's poetry is so fulfilling, and all of his poetry says a lot; it inspires me deeply. I love Tupac. I just want to say to anyone that is reading this that you won't be disappointed if you purchase this book; it's a masterpiece, and regardless of how anyone feels about him, his skills and talents have no choice but to be appreciated and acknowledged for its perfection and brilliance. This book, along with him period, really has given me so much inspiration. Tupac really surprises me so much with all of his excellence. I strongly give this book, his music, his movies, and HIM five stars and I urge you to buy this book of poetry by Tupac Shakur. It will change your life. (R.I.P Tupac LOVE YOU! )

Summary: One word: beautiful
Review: Tupac just keeps surprising me. I already knew he could write poetry from the few poems that were published on the internet, but I didn't know he wrote that many. I loved each and every poem. Altough I can't say I relate to every poem (after all, I never lived a life like Tupac in my sheltered home in The Netherlands and I'm white, so I didn't have to deal with racism like Tupac did) but still, I feel his pain in a whole other way. I do miss one poem though: 'I've Seen Your Soul Before'. You can read this poem anywhere on the internet. Anyway it's one of my favs so I was just wondering why it wasn't published in the book. Maybe a possible part 2? Tupac, RIP, your presence will be missed, but your soul will always be with us.

Summary: A beautifully-written anthology of hadwriten poetry
Review: I read excerpts from this book in the November edition of Source Magazine and was stunned at the heart-felt and moving nature of TuPac's words. I've always been a big fan of TuPac, loving all of his albums and this book was so perfectly touching and moving. It portrays Pac in a very different light from the image that was painted by many people; a cold, heartless gangster with a severe authority complex and an attitude. I've always known the truth about Pac, that he was a living, feeling person with strong emotions and a large heart. But this book really made my beliefs ring true. I'd recommend this book to anyone, those who love Pac, those who love to hate him, and those who don't know him at all.

Summary: A great look into Tupac's thoughts
Review: I believe that this book gives us a very close and personal look at Tupac's thoughts and feelings. If someone else read this book they would never guess that it was written by a rapper they becouse it is so well written(without cursing. The best part of the book is that they have his own handwriting on the page as well as a typed version.

Summary: An immortal collection
Review: When one thinks of 2Pac, does poetry come to mind? Of course we all know he could rap and rhyme, but not like this. The way that the actual words he wrote, the way he wrote, were a tremendous asset to this book. RIP 2PAC

Summary: A peek into the soul of Tupac Shakur!
Review: Everyone who has ever criticized Tupac and characterized him as just a 'thug', 'gangsta', 'troublemaker'should read this book. Only then will they get a glimpse of the true Tupac - a complex, sensitive, wonderful, talented young man. Thanks for publishing this book!
