Summary: All Our Children Are Reading All the Presidents' Children
Review: We purchased two copies of this book since our family is very history-oriented and we wanted to share the concepts that Doug Wead discussed in his tv interview. Both of our children and their spouses were so interested in reading the book that they took both our copies before we were finished. It looks like we will have to purchase a third copy for the family!

Summary: A Timeless link with our past
Review: Wead has managed to weave a story of our past that not only is rich with information, but resonates with us now. The stories of the the children of our country's presidents, reveals heartache, triumph and disappointment. Time and technology simply has not changed what is essential in human nature. I heartily recommend this book---unless you'r looking for revisionist history. No, Wead has given us a splendidly honest and candid look at our past. Would we should all take it to heart.

Summary: What a great read!
Review: Wead's storytelling style makes this a great, entertaining and informational read for all history and political buffs. An interesting topic that raises all kinds of questions about the powerful, wealthy and privileged who live in the public eye. Fun, and thought-provoking. I recommend it highly.

Summary: FIRST FAMILY SECRETS REVEALED
Review: Who would have known that our Presidents' families have been so touchingly human, yet amazingly imperfect? Doug Wead reaches into the dusty bins of historic information to give us many of the tantalizing revelations and heart-warming anecdotes that we never got to read in school history books.

After reading the book, I understand more than ever the pressures brought to bear on our nation's first families. I've read lots of books and articles on chief executives and their children, but this one is exceptional, reaching far beyond the prim-and-proper stories through the years which have often been released as "proper" history.

It was also amazing how common threads of tragedy, success and downright quirkiness continue to run through the generations of White House dwellers.

Wead's ATPC is a powerful, enlightening, must-read page-turner for all ages who, after reading these chapters, will never again be satisfied with ho-hum history books!
