Summary: Love him or hate him--You have to respect him.
Review: "The Art of the Comeback" is an inspirational account of a brilliant man looking adversity in the face and then making it work to his advantage. "The Art of the Comeback" allows the reader to get to know "The Donald" on his own terms and in his own words. Trump discusses the rewards of hard work, the loyalty of others, the women in (and out of) his life, and his ability to rise to the top again after being billions of dollars in debt.

Some may mistake Trump's confidence for arrogance. That's not arrogance, that's honesty. It is ok to claim to be one of the best when you *are* one of the best. Trump has gone from having it all, to losing it all, to amassing it all again plus some. Trump is a phoenix that will undoubtedly always rise from the ashes.

Summary: Makes you think..and inspires
Review: As much as this book is ALL about Donald, it really makes you think about the harsh realities of being in business, especially if you're business for yourself. For example, when he writes about getting rid of a spouse who is not supportive, it's not something you want to hear but its probably true. At the end, I felt inspired to be successful. Any book that can do that is worth a read.

Summary: My most disappointing book this year
Review: Donald said:"This is my last book". It could have easily save that one. The reading of the book was a complete waste of time and money. Not a good "deal" for the reader. Donald's next book could be "The Art of Falling Down Again". Donald shall focus on what he does the best: building (great) and womenining (beautiful)

Summary: He's the "MAN" !
Review: Everyone either loves or hates Donald Trump! He is what we all want to be. He says and does what we all want to say and do. A very successfull businessman is probably someone that many of us would not like. In order to be able to do what they do , they have to have a large dose of ego and self confidence. They must be assertive. We the little people spend thousands reading inspirational books, attending seminars, and all the rest of that stuff to be successful, searching for that millionaire mentality, yet we condem it when we find someone who really has it! I enjoyed the book immensely. Yes there was a lot of DONALD, but so what? Read it, and learn!

Summary: Uncover The Hidden Treasures
Review: For the reader able to plow through the egotistical language of the author (any great businessman must be somewhat egotistical to make him great), there are several worthwhile lessons for the aspiring entreprenuer. As the best of his three books, the volume also provides an entertaining account for the casual reader.

Summary: An "eye for an eye" goes against my grain of thinking.
Review: Getting even and getting revenge goes against my grain of thinking. But after reading Trump's The Art of the Comeback, this approach made a lot of sense. In business, it's critical that you not only show who's boss when it comes to managing your assets, it's also critical that you establish permanent ownership in a way that you will never be perceived as a chump who will settle lawsuits out of court on a recurring basis, or let things like marriages that go bad ruin your career. Although this is a harsh reality usually reserved for the very rich, it makes the reader wake up and realize that the basis of dealmaking, whether it be a real estate acquisition or a salary negotiation, is based on people and their motives. An excellent read.

Summary: Inspirational
Review: Gives hope to all of us that when the chips really get us down, we can survive and succeed. I really admire and am a devoted fan of Donald Trump. Just wish he was living in Texas and looking for a Texas single gal. I do thank him for all the insights to survival.

Summary: Another 200+ pages of chest pounding from The Donald
Review: I have long been a fan of Donald Trump. I have read every book available on him, including this newest one. This book gives a little insight to his inner workings, and some of his deals. The biggest disappointment for me is that Donald will not share any of his vast financial acumen with us. He is very gifted in the arena of finance, and I wish that he would impart some of that knowledge on us. Perhaps he feels like this would give away some of his business advantage, or maybe he just likes chest pounding better that education. In contrast, Warren Buffet spends lots of time telling us the exact formulas and philosophies that he has used to become a billionaire from the stock market. Donald Trump has a great gift, and I wish he would write one more book to share even a portion of that with us.

Summary: The Art of Hyperbole
Review: I love the guy, once again, you must give it up for trump, the man knows what he is doing. He, in this book, has managed to highlight his victories ....how he came back to financial prosperity. But wait, how did he go down in the first place. He purposly mangages to ignore the finer points (the negatives)...and again, makes himself to be nothing less of a godly figure. Sure probably 50 percent of the book is fabricated. But its fun reading no doubt. You have too respect a guy who doesnt give up and knows what it takes to reach the top.....
