Rating: Summary: I wept at the end!! Review: It is not often that I come upon a book that makes me look at my life and what I have done so far. When I got to the end, I cried because of the life he lived and how he lived it. Because of this book I have change how I look at people, things and my attitude towards my own life.
Rating: Summary: Inspiring Review: This is the greatest book I read so far. It talks about what's silenced inside most of our hearts. If each of us who have read the book may take some actual action to carry out those ideas, a caring world may be expected!
Rating: Summary: Sweet and Inspirational...from a true skeptic Review: I began this book lightheartedly and skeptical. I was determined to pull anything I could out of Albom's widsoms. I was afraid it would be sappy and draining.I laughed, I cried. It was so worth it. I read it in one sitting. I couldn't put it down. I thought on my own, young, short life. I thought of my relationships with others. I enjoyed every minute.
Rating: Summary: Profoundly inspirational. Review: I really enjoyed this book. The graphic description of the disease is often times very hard to read but the message this book sends about life and living is extraordinary. I am truly touched by it.
Rating: Summary: Trite and cliche-ridden, written by opportunist Review: What a banal load of crap! Do people really buy this stuff? I read the story of a marginally talented writer taking advantage of a dying man to push national buttons. Yikes this book was terrible. Buy a pound of Hallmark cards next time, you'll get the same insights.
Rating: Summary: Well-intentioned, yet, tiresome. Review: Mitch Albom is a talented writer and a keen observer. His personal journey was illuminating and satisfying, although his structure forced the journey into tedium. Tuesdays is a light, one-day read.
Rating: Summary: timeless and boundless Review: A timeless book. It has meaning for every generation and for all time. It knows no bounds, culturally or geographically. The truth of his words is true in all the corners of the universe as well as our meager world.
Rating: Summary: If you want to know how to live, read the book Review: I finished the book in two days during the holidays--couldn't put it down. The book answers many important questions in my life. It provided much serenity in the hectic and overly commercialized holiday season. The book takes you with Morrie in his final journey in life. Morries' words made me re-evaluate my attitudes towards life, love, marriage, forgiveness, children and death. Throughout the reading, I kept wanting to fly up to Boston to meet Morrie. The book is especially a must read for the busy and ambitious professionals in big cities like NYC. Buy it and read it TODAY!!!!!!!!!!
