Review: I think the man who was poe is an ok book. I like how it started but as it got to the middle it got kinda confusing. I think that the ending was the best! I would read another book from avi again if i saw it at school or in a library.i enjoyed it! :)

stars, Avi still wrote an excellent book with a plot that matched the twisted mind of Edgar Allan Poe himself. The mysteries of this book constantly keep the reader spellbound and interested till the last chapter. Truly an excellent book indeed.

Review: The book, The Man who was Poe, in my opinion was a pretty good book with the style of edgar allen poe. The story is about a boy named Edmund in search of his family but meets a man, Poe. Avi did a exceptional job writing did this, adding many twists poesh words. I gave this book 3 stars because though it was good, the material was kind of complicating because they kept on introducing new characters and conflicts. But I still think it's a good story.

Review: ...I read The Man Who Was Poe.This book was a mysterious book.It is all about solving problems of murder and mystery.I gave this book 3 stars,because I prefer action;adventure,or suspense books.This book was kind of suspensful,especially when I read it at night.Overall I thought this book was preety boring and dull.I guess this book was just not for me.

Review: I liked this book because it was encouereging tokeep reading. Every chapter ave you another clue or two to solve the mystery of where this poor boy named edmund's mother step father aunt and sis. He is running around town trying to get someone to help but no one will exept this one man named dupin. He is atually named Poe as edmund finds out later in the book. Then he dupin finds out that dupin is crazy and he is writing a book of edmunds life and he thinks that everyone around him are just fictional characters of his story. If he ever founds he finds his mum sister an hi aunt you will have to find out yourself

Review: I think the book needs more excitement.Dupin and Poe were to confusing becuase he was Poe then he was Dupin, and then he became Poe again so it kind of cunfused me. It needed to be more interesting because Dupin was an investigater and he didn't want to kill Edmund's sister and then Poe wanted to relive his story because he saw Edmund and he had like the same life as he did, so he was trying to kill sis. to relive the story.So I thought that the book was kind of interesting.
