Summary: I think it was great i have her video & book.
Review: I really thought that the book was really interesting because it was so true real sad and that is one of my favourite movies, and also is one of my one and only movie that i thought had a really sad ending.I'd like to give a comment,to the people that made the people in the movie Selena that your make-up and clothes and everything looked like the real people.Well I am only 10 years old and i can really feel her spirit it's not only because she's dead or bacause of her songs that makes me cry its because I have this speacial feeling to her.i wanted to be a singer but after I saw this movie i could not even thinking of being one because you never know what's going to happen and you have to go on alot of risks,so for you out there who want t be a singer or in a group i am giving you a warning if i were you I wouldn't even try.For Yolanda who killed Selena I just want you to know that if I were anybody in the family I would have never forgive you because she did no harm.

Review: I think that this book by Joe Nick Patoski is a phenominaL book ! Even thought I'm 14 years old you could feel what she was going through . And you could visualize the whole story . I'd say this is one of my favorite books since The Cat in the Hat !

Summary: Wonderful book and worth the time and money ! Siempre Selena
Review: I was sceptical about buying this book at first, considering that isn't an official biography. But, I must say I WASN'T dissapointed. It was wonderful. It was well written, well organized, and gave Selena the credit as a singer and human being that she deserveed. My only vice about it is that is makes her father seem like a controlling freak, when the only thing he was ever guilty of is loving his daughter. Other than that, this book is most definitely worth the money. If you love Selena, you'll love this Book! :)

Summary: Siempre Selena
Review: My husband bought me this book as a Christmas gift two and a half years ago and I've lost track of the number of times I've read it since then. It is a wonderful book! It really shows Selena as a warm, kind-hearted individual whose religious convictions and devotion to her family were top priority. I was amazed too at how much of the book lined up with what was portrayed in the movie. It was especially nice to learn of her family and to see how they are moving on since that tragic day five years ago. This is a must for Selena fans everywhere, whether you're a brand new fan or you've followed her and her career since she started. Definitely two thumbs way,way up!

Summary: A life cut too short
Review: Selena life's was an amazing journey over obstacles and pressures, both from within and without. Yet she persevered and that is what makes her life so interesting. Patoski conveys some of that struggle here, as well as the culture backdrop. We learn her life was cut too short, her influence spreading far beyond her hometown, as detailed in the fine "The Billboard Guide to Tejano and regional Mexican Music," on Billboard Books. As Ramiro Burr wrote, Selena will be remembered as an American cult hero, much like Marilyn Monroe or James Dean.
