Summary: Best Self Help Ever
Review: My womens bible study read this out loud in small groups. The best part is being able to reread the chapters you need. I copy the prayers and post them everywhere. The changes in you marriage starts with you and how much you want to change to please God not you husband. This was the best study book I ever did as a group. Now my husband and I are reading it together. Change happens in God's time and with His power and with your prayers. KEEP PRAYING.

Summary: The best!
Review: I love this book. It was recommended by a friend of mine. There are specific prayers to pray for every area of your husbands life. It is so helpful. There are stories of what other women went through with their husbands, along with a prayer that deals with the specific issue. The prayers are worded beautifully and also some quotes from the bible, but written in easy-to-understand language. I totally recommend this book. I use the prayers in it frequently.

Summary: The Power of a Praying Wife
Review: I ordered the Afrikaans version of this book in the latter half of last year. Before even having received the book my husband told me he was moving out. I received the book two weeks later and even though we had started divorce proceedings, I started reading the book as I loved my husband dearly. Every chapter was very moving, inspiring and so focused on the real issues. It translates into words so many feelings which I so often found difficult to put into words. My husband came to me six weeks later and said we must try again. I truly believe that the "Power of a Praying Wife" is what gave me the hope to focus on what I believed in (that God meant for us to be together). I believe the book showed me a new way of 'living' my belief to the extent that my husband's eyes and heart were opened! Thank you Stormie for your courage to express what your heart knows to be true. I am buying each of my best friends a copy for Christmas.

Summary: It's a "gotta have" book
Review: If your marriage is in trouble, you really need this book. If your marriage is not in trouble, get it anyway. Your relationship will grow and bring joy beyond whatever you could imagine. I know of a pre-teen and teenage group of girls who are studying this book and praying for their future husbands even though they don't know who he is yet. It is helping them to develop wisdom and to become praying wives. Be sure you get the study guide to go along with it.

Summary: a mirror image of my marriage
Review: I have been struggeling with my husband and his bad habbits including his friend.I was even thinking about seperation. But I knew that there had to be another way around it. So I prayed and searched for guidence on how to make our marriage better and eternal. And as I was surfing the net one morning God brought me to this book. I thought to myself I have to get this book. So I went and purchased it that same day. I started reading it with tears in my eyes not wanting to put it down. Everything I was reading was an mirror image of my marriage all the way up to my husbands name. The whole time I keep shaking my head in agreement. Well it has now been three days since I purchased this book and I have now come to the end. But since I started reading it and praying along with the prayer guide I have not seen a difference but felt a difference. God has spoken to me through this book. And he is calling me to start a prayer group with my husband's friends. And I'm going to do so.

Summary: The Power of a Praying Wife
Review: I had found out one week before I bought this book that my husband was seeing someone. This book has helped me tremendously. There's something about bathing your husband in prayer that can change your own heart. That was three months ago and we have a long way to go yet. But hopefully with prayer and the Lord, our marriage can survive this. I wish that I could talk to Stormie and tell her how this has been a big part in saving our marriage. I wish that I had bought the book alot sooner, maybe we wouldn't be where we are today. I urge all wives to pray for their husbands before a crisis happens. Thank you to all you praying wives!

Summary: What a powerful book
Review: I highly recommend this book for all wives. Since I've started reading it I've noticed that God is not only hearing my prayers for my husband, but my realationship with the Lord has become even closer. I enjoyed the book so much that I had to slow down in my reading to make it last. Now that I've finished it, I keep it handy and am committed to open it everyday and read a prayer for my husband. What an awesome book this was. I've just ordered The Power of Praying Parent. I'm convinced this too will be a blessing.

Summary: My Life Has Changed!
Review: I was struggling with my marriage until I was given copy of the book. It changed my perspectives of being a wife and got me on my knees. The day I started, I saw changes; changes first in myself, then in my relationship and finally with my husband. It's powerful! It's the most worthwhile investment I've ever made and I still use it daily.

Review: A friend of mine at church recommended this book because I was having trouble dealing with my decision to go back to my husband after a six month separation. I have always prayed for my husband, but I wanted to see a drastic change in him. This book showed me how to look at myself and let God change me first. It also showed me how to take everything concerning my husband to the Lord in prayer so God could change him. Now, I see very, very small changes in my husband, but small is big to God. I am trying to see my husband through God's eyes and love him through God's heart. Thank you Stormie for sharing this special gift that God has given you with so many women. I feel it is my duty to bless others with this book since it was such a blessing to me. Thanks!
