Review: I know that James Van Praagh's book is truth..Two of our three children have crossed over the veil to the other side, and my mother also. I have had many spiritual experiences before, during and after their passings, and so much of what he has written mirrors my own experiences that I know what he writes to be absolutely true! He brings such comfort, peace and truth to the hearts of those who are in need. I know from my own experience there is no death- that those who have passed on are very much alive in the spirit world...our loved ones on the other side are never very far from us, in fact will always be with us! James knows this to be true, and shares this in his book! What comfort it gives to have this knowledge! Everyone who has had a loved one pass on to the other side, needs to read this book....it will bring them comfort and knowledge and TRUTH! I would love to meet him and talk to him in person, I know he has blessed my life, and many others also.....I look forward to some day meeting and talking with him and to his next book!

Review: James gives an easy,open and honest account of his experiences in learning and helping others with their greif. It is a true learning experience to allow yourself to be open enough to consider the possibilities of what he presents. It is a true comfort.

Summary: Amazing! Truly Wonderful!
Review: I've been following Mr. Van Praagh's appearances for quitesome time, and became an instant believer the first time I saw him onT.V. His book was simply a gentle reminder of his wonderful, fulfilling insights I'd already come to know. A "must" for any person, any religion. A week after I bought the book and read it half way, I befriended a young woman like myself, over the internet through a pen pals site, who lives 5 states away. During the first week of emailing eachother back and forth and becoming "surprisingly" very close in such a short period of time, her father suddenly passed away. To make a long story short, I truly believe our friendship was purposly planned the way it turned out from a higher spirit. Someone perhaps looking out for her on the other side knowing she'd need someone like me, and visa versa, at her time of grieving. While she was away at the funeral, I finished the book. Upon her returning, she was so distrought over her father's death, I recommended Talking To Heaven to her. Now, 3 months later, we are the very best of friends. Thank you Mr. Van Praagh. For without your insights, I may not have been able to understand the if's, why's and how's, therefore perhaps never have met my best friend.

Review: This book is a wonderful confirmation of Spirit Van Praagh has the most incredible talent for revealing the subtle world of Spirit. After hearing his views on the Bible being the work of man - in order to maintain the populace in fear - I have to say that I am now going to reread the truly wonderful "THE Autobiography of Jesus of Nazareth and the Missing Years" by Richard G. Patton, which now seems EVEN more real. Thank you Mr. Praagh for making Spirit even more tangible in our daily lives and thank you Mr. Patton for returning Jesus to the real world.

Summary: interrested but confused,consitent but unconsistant at times
Review: I found the book to be interresting. I believe in the supernatural and have a on going unfocused talent for predicting future events myself. It comes to me at unsuspecting times and I`ve learned over the years when my day dreams and night dreams would eventually become reality. I therefore believe Mr. Van Praagh may be telling the truth to some extent. The doubts raised by those who tell of inconsistancies is very interresting and may hold water . People have to understand that not everyone has answers to all questions or that if someone is famous or in the public eye they immediately can gain universal knowledge on any subject. Everyone is limited to thier own thoughts, thus if Van Praagh hasn`t the means of contacting the POPE to discuss things with him maybe he`ll opt for someone he can. I know a few rich and powerfull friends of mine who wouldn`t even pick up a phone book if they didn`t have to. I have a friend that recently was going in for a tripple bi-pass, medical articles kept popping up in my life, I realized them to be clues. I checked out new innovative proceedures and came up with a co. named PLC sys. I don`t believe this was a coinsedence, three days later he was to have the opperation. With the technology of PLC his life will be saved. I DON`T BELIEVE Van Praagh to be a fraud but maybe his next book should enlighten us some of the questions brought up by his readers. stay cool. tracy james

Review: I've read other books about life after death, reincarnation, spirits and what not. But, this book made me realize that the beliefs I've come to call my own, are valid. I will continue to be a part of my family and loved one's lives even after death. Thank you James Van Praagh!

Review: THE BOOK WAS GREAT, I WISH THAT I COULD MEET JAMES , HE'S VERY GIFTED . ALTHOUGH I HAVE NO ONE THAT I WOULD CONTACT I WOULD LIKE FOR MY HUSBAND TO BE ABLE TO CONTACT SOMEONE. EVERONE WHO DOES NOT BELIEVE HAS NOT HAD ANY KIND OF EXPERIENCE, OR FEELING THAT THEY HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH OR BY SOMEONE WHO HAS PASSED ON . I LOOK FORWARD TO MORE BOOKS.

Review: As one who has spent over 3 decades pursuing truth, and has found many answers along the way, I am thankful that James Van Praagh and his book have reached mainstream society with a timeless message. I'm sure he knows that all he has written has been known throughout the millennia. What makes Mr. Van Praagh so important, particularly now, is that he has been able to reach so many who have been misled by distortions of this ancient wisdom, as it was passed on by Masters, like Jesus. Other cultures have had their Masters too, and human beings have twisted their messages for their own purposes as well, but perhaps not as thoroughly as the Judeo-Christian traditions have, compunded by the useful, but incomplete, mindset of the rational/scientific revolution...Unfortunately, there are some who cannot break free of the bonds, the limited vision imposed by childhood 'brainwashing,'and the guilt that reinforces their mental prison. As I read the small number of negative reviews here, I felt frustrated at the impossibility of responding to each comment, (as Mr. Van Praagh must feel at being asked to 'prove' himself, over and over-- as if there could ever exist enough proof to satisfy, in a culture that has made spirituality a joke--),although each objection can be easily evaporated- if met by an open mind. Then I felt sad for those imprisoned by such manipulation and unable, or afraid, to open... Ultimately, I decided to focus on the large number of individuals whose eyes and hearts are being opened by this book and Mr. Van Praagh's TV appearances. Over the years, I've watched the fakes and frauds deceive so many, and harden resistance to the real thing...while so many suffer in grief, fear of death, loss of hope (esp. the young). So many of our problems, like drugs, are a symptom of spiritual emptiness and hunger that simply isn't being satisfied by traditional religion...I'm so pleased that James Van Praagh has opened the door to God and to Truth to so many...

Review: I have followed interviews with James for a long long time. I am always amazed at his genuine concern for each individual. The only thing I question are the ones who don't believe. They are so scared! James exudes strength and love!!!

Review: Mr Van Praagh really opened my eyes. I always had different views about so many things , like assisted
deaths. I had no ideal about your souls reaction to this. Also about abortion, I always felt it was a womans right to decide if this was what she wanted, I didn't think about the soul. I too would love to meet with Mr. Van Praagh and possible talk to my father.
Hearing actual stories of people who he has help is incredible. Mr Van Praagh is truly a great artist in his work. I thank him for the book, it has truly changed my life.
