As a person who was widowed just after my late husband's 40th birthday; has a father diagnosed with Alzheimers; has undergone many serious and shattering life changes - this book was a blessing! It informs, fascinates, reassures and comforts. Its plain language creates a familiarity with the author and his experiences. It will change the way you perceive each waking moment and every day for the rest of your life.

Summary: What an amazing gift!
Review: After my husband passed away, 4 weeks after our wedding aged 28 years, I had many questions. Is he OK? What is he doing? Is he around me like he said he would be? Reading James' book has strongly reaffirmed both my late husbands and my beliefs in the after life. Any one who thinks that this earth is it has to really open up their minds. Energy is everything (no matter what form of energy it is) and it sustains all types of life be it physical or spiritual. It is scientific fact that energy can not be destroyed it just takes on another form. The spark that is all of us does go on. I was a true believer before I read this book and now after reading it 3 times I feel nothing but peace and happiness for both my husband and myself. We will see each other again. I've already had confirmation in dreams. Thank you James for helping me with my grief process. I have passed your book on to my husbands family with the hope that it will help them as much as it has helped me. A must ! ! read for those seeking reassurance that their loved one is indeed alive.

Review: Before I first saw James VanPraagh on Oprah, the ideas he "preaches" in his book I was already onto. Honesty, humility, and unconditional love-these are the things that truly matters. Although James will test your true knowledge of life itself, what it comes down to is merely understanding the basics, and letting you love yourself. Once you find that peace all else simply falls into place. Talking to Heaven in a critics term is a "must read."

Review: The death of a loved one can be very frightening. However, James Van Praagh's book brings comfort and peace to those who's loved ones have crossed over. To know that one day you will meet your loved one again in spirit is very reassuring. I loved this book, it was easy to read and understand. I highly recommend it!

Review: Once I started reading this book, I too found it hard to put down. I do a lot of reading and have found that you truly have to listen to your heart for your own truth on any subject; this book spoke to my very soul. Anything that gives the hope and upliftment that a work such as this does, is truly a blessing. What a reassurance it is to know that there is no death, no vengeful God waiting to punish and judge, only a transition to a higher, brighter plane of existence, and that we truly do judge ourselves.

Review: I was unable to put this book down. The content is something I havent read about before and Mr. Van Praagh have given a concise report on several stories he has encountered. If you are skeptical, it at least makes you think about life after death and possible makes you question further.....

Review: I thought the book was excellent. I couldn't put it down from the moment I started it. What wonderful stories of loved ones that have passed over, and how great to know that they are still with us. Maybe that explains that "sixth sense" of not always being alone when I am by myself.
