Summary: A welcome voice!
Review: As a manager of a wellness center for people with mental health issues, and a holistic health practitioner, it is refreshing to find someone in the world of psychiatry using intuition and psychic information as a significant part of their treatments.
Dr. Orloff's candor and skill in telling her story of struggle and growth in her personal and private life makes her book even more powerful.
I have walked in this realm of "energy" and "psychic" for years now but still found myself saying "wow" and "ah ha" several times throughout the book, from an informational point.
Nonetheless, it is Dr. Orloff's story telling abilities and her personal journey that moved me to tears often and kept the book close by my side during my week vacationing at the beach.
Both Dr. Orloff and "Second Sight" are "keepers".

Summary: SECOND SIGHT was my turning point...
Review: This book opened my mind and soul to the possibilities we all share; it defined some of the deepest fears and feelings I experienced and gave me a positive outlook about our role here on planet Earth. It was a coincidence (are there really any of those?) that I stumbled onto this book...and I am SO grateful. Every day offers new spiritual exploration and I am no longer afraid of my own gifts.

Summary: Not Your Everyday Psychic
Review: It was easy to feel a kinship with Judiths journey.She lays bare her struggle with the psychic with such tenderness,and compassion.Her courage invites us to look at ourselves similarly.But does'nt abandon us there.There is a unique groundedness she engenders that feels very safe. Not just selling the finished product, she goes along for the ride through the darker, and unappealing parts of ourselves.There lies I believe her greatest gift, nurturing our timid souls and calling us into more diologue with the sublime.

Summary: Reaches You right to the Core
Review: The book "Second Sight" is absolutely phenomenal and I have read tons of books on Intuition. Second sight made it easier to understand and let me tell you I had lots of "aha" moments. The author takes you on her own journey in life and it amazes me of the similarities in my life. Her description of the double life makes it easier for me to understand what I am going through. It is so true that we live too much by our heads and not feel by our bodies...I recommend this book to anyone currently stuck in their lives.

Review: As soon as I began to read this book I knew I would get a lot of helpful and interesting information from it. It is easy to read and anyone can understand what the term psychic means. Ms. Orloff reveals much personal data about herself so I felt that I personally got to know her through this book. I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in how information comes into our senses and how it can help us in our lives.

Summary: A re-finding of the opening through which I came
Review: I have read few books that have triggered a more immediate change in me than Judith Orloff, M.D.'s, SECOND SIGHT.
Through the compelling telling of her own psychic and professional experiences she weaves the three diverse perspectives of healing -- medical, psychic and spiritual -- into one magnificent and comforting cloak. Having taken years in her own integration of these views, she, at no time, say's it's an easy task to accomplish. More importantly, what she does convincingly impart, is that it is quite doable, for almost anyone who really wants to commit to the process of learning how -- which she very caringly explains in this book. What her story and teachings intstilled in me was an almost immediate re-acceptance of those gifts, which I have repressed so long in myself. Both my clients and I have benefited immensely from my buying this book. I recommend it highly for anyone serious about becoming more connected, open and intuitive

Review: This book grabs the attention like a novel but it transmits a great deal of information on psychic living. It is not pedantic, all the information is grounded in the author's personal experience. Itis also quite autobiographical.

Summary: GREAT BOOK BY A VERY PERSONABLE AUTHOR
Review: I was truly impressed with this book. It goes into details that makes you realize that Judith is not just an author writing a book to make money, but she makes you realize she is sharing her life's experiences with you. Also she explains things in a way that lets you know, we all have things in our lives we can't explain but that doesn't mean that there is any thing wrong us. I would truly recommend this book to anyone that has an interest in the psychic world but also to anyone who is have trouble finding out where they belong in the stream of life. Judith also has another book out called: "Intuitive Healing" and is now working on her 3rd. Book. So keep watching for it.

Summary: Re: Second Sight
Review: This book was written with her own true-life experiences in a soft spoken manner in which I felt comfortable to listen in. She doesn't put on heirs that she is gifted, rather that to understand where she was "at" and how it came to an acceptance within herself and family etc. She gives you techniques to guide you to quiet yourself and look within. The rest is up to you. For me, I have begun to listen again and have dreamtime. A great gift.

Review: I truly gained very valuable insight into the world of the paranormal by reading this book - Second Sight is written with a very methodological/scientific bent, making it difficult to doubt Orloff's personal stories and professional advise. Her retelling of her participation in a wide array of scientific studies is fascinating. I would recommend this book to those just exploring the world of the psychic as well as those deeply invested in that world.
