Summary: horrific disgusting images, nightmares for children
Review: I don't know why this book is listed as a children's book. It's not even suitable for adults. It has vile images of implied child pornography (page 41), bestiality (page 70), racism (all the good fairies are white and the bad ones that spread plagues and disease are "the darklings", horrific violence and orgy scenes (page 36).
The author was on MSNBC touting this as being appropriate for children as young as 5 years old while Katie Couric cheared him on. [...]

Summary: A Treasure's Trove
Review: SUPER FUN!!! Apart from the idea that their are real treasures hidden for someone to find the book has an intriguing mystery about it...The graphics are very colorful and beautiful and the puzzles are engaging I would definatley reccomend it. I couldn't comment for older children my daughter is just one year old and she loves the bright pictures.
fyi the first review is hateful...you could read hate and porn and racisim into just about anything these days if you try hard enough...the book is none of those things!!! Darkness is tipically an evil thing in many fairytales GET OVER IT!!!

Summary: Treasures Tweleve? No! There are 13!
Review: This charming fairy tale is more than a childrens book, it's a puzzle with multiple levels, suitable for all ages. The author, Michael Stadther, told us to look "around the nation tweleve places to seek" and that there were "treasures tweleve for you to keep!" ... his funky spelling has even led to a huge online forum of the same name... but there aren't 12 treasures, there are 13!

The solution to the newly released clue tells us that there is one more treasure for all of you to find. Very exciting.
