What [garbage]!! Shameful self promotion on the introductory page..how a seminary president was Sooo impressed with his illustrations...that these illustration would PREACH..ha! Not at all in line any form of biblical preaching.
Just horrible!! I may have used one of his illustrations but the rest of the pages would best be used for a bird cage.

Summary: You Bet "These Will Preach"
Review: This is a fantastic book for preachers who would like to draw on the world experience of a long time pastor. The stories in here are engaging and relevant. After reading a few lines of the story you can see how it will apply to life...and your congregation will, too. I've used manyof these stories in my own preaching, nuch to the deight of my congregation. For anyone who is a new pastor or a young preacher, this is a wonderful way to learn illustrations for your own preaching, as well as to see how to pick such stories out of your own life. I recommend this book highly.
