Rating: Summary: Rare footage of the previous Rebbe's arrival to America Review: During a farbrengen two or three years ago at the local Chabad House held in honor of the chasidic holiday Yud-Beis Tammuz, commemorating the previous Lubavitch Rebbe's liberation from prison in the former Soviet Union in 1927, this video was shown. With remarkable rare exclusive footage of the previous Rebbe's arrival to America, his citizenship ceremony in 1949 (if I remember correctly) and much much more, this video guarantees to provide much inspiration and appreciation of the previous Rebbe and his many accomplishments. When he so famously uttered those words "America is no different" immediately after his arrival in America, the previous Rebbe demonstrated unrelenting determination to build Torah and Judaism in this great land. Indeed, his son-in-law and successor took this dream and promoted it beyond anybody's wildest imagination. In our own personal lives and observance, let us, too, always remember that "America is no different," that Judaism is eternally relevant and necessary. In doing so, may we merit to greet Moshiach NOW!
