Rating: Summary: Irreverant Humor Review: This book is funny. The heroin is an adorable adolescent who most girls could relate to. The setting being in Europe and all the unusual names of things makes this book interesting too. All of the sexual references have made most of my students who've picked this up at the public library blush (which I am truly relieved about!) and makes it inapropriate, in my opinion, for a classroom library. I do teach at a Catholic school so that does influence my opinion. I think it is a cute series, just maybe geared at a slightly too young audience.
Rating: Summary: Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging Review: This book is laugh out loud funny. You just don't want to put it down. Georgia's opinion on life is hilarious. I would recommend it for ant girl 12 to 112.
Rating: Summary: WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG TO READ THIS?? Review: This book kept popping up on my recommended list and on the lists of people whose selections I admired but something about the title or the cover put me off. I finally picked it up off my friends shelf the other day and started it and I didn't put it down until I had finished it. It is the funniest book I have ever read. I NEVER laugh out loud when I read and this book constantly had me bursting out. I read the whole thing with a smile on my face and absolutely fell in love with Georgia. This is an amazing first novel and the writing literally sparkles off the page. I am hooked and will pass it on to many friends.
Rating: Summary: Most definitely a mood lifter for any teenage girl Review: This book was a non-stop riot! I loved every single chapter! I couldn't put the book down. I found myself laughing out loud! Most definitely a "pick your mood up" kind of book for any girl ages 14-20! Not a boring moment, you will find yourself looking for more Louise Rennison books! I would recommend this book to anyone who's in for a good laugh and some odd, yet real-life dilemas. Louise writes what we all are thinking but dare not say! I totally loved it!
Rating: Summary: A Good Laugh Review: This book was good for a view laughs, but a bit disappointing. Buy this book if you have some free time to waste.
Rating: Summary: go, louise rennison! Review: This book was HILLARIOUS! i bought all of them, and i re read them all the time. They remind me of me and my friends!! ahahah, they're a great laugh I suggest you read it, even if you are an adult.
Rating: Summary: . Review: This is a good book if you need a laugh. I also liked "On the Bright Side, I'm Now The Girlfriend of a Sex God" which is the sequel to "Angus, Thongs...". I have yet to read the other 3, which are, Knocked Out By My Nunga-Nungas, Dancing In My Nuddy-Pants & Away Laughing on a Fast Camel.
