Review: If you're a fan of Firesign Theatre or the Goon Show : fast, verbal, surreal humor, this is a great recording. It's a slickly produced pop-culture parody that takes on everybody. It's tuneful and genuinely hilarious. "Jive in Jersey" is worth the price of the compact disk. "The Do-It-Yourself Big Hit Record" is also a five-star track.

Review: My brother and I listened to this recording. I thought it was hilarious; a great pop-culture send-up. He didn't get a word of it. But I think his cultural references ended with Tommy Dorsey. If you're a little hipper than that, you'll love this! It shreds everything: including NPR. Delicious satire!

Review: You'd have to go back to the golden age of American songwriting (Frank Loesser, etc) to find the kind of rarefied wit that flows in abundance out of this recording. I listened for an hour with a smile on my face.
