Rating: Summary: WOW! I stayed up all night reading! Review: My sides hurt from laughing! This book is classic Evanovich. The secondary characters are hysterical as are the scrapes Stephanie finds herself in. And the sexual tension could start a fire! Warning--don't start the book until you have several free hours because you will not want to put it down for a moment. Plan on eating a Pop Tart for dinner and read on!
Rating: Summary: Exceeded my hopes! Review: I have read all the Stephanie books, and await the next book eagerly each year. This year, was no exception. It was delivered this afternoon, and my nose has been stuck beteen its pages non-stop. The characters become better all the time, and Bob is a great new addition. I laughed myself silly at times, and had my family watching me with strange looks on their faces. It is definitely a good read. Great for summertime relaxation. Tense and fast moving right down to the last page. I can't wait until next year!
Rating: Summary: Worth the wait...rush to read Review: It was worth the long wait to find out who Steph ends up with, but that is just the tip of the iceberg.... Read the book in hours...couldn't put it down. I laughed so hard I nearly hyperventilated. I don't know how Evanovich does it, but she has produced another great one! This one might even change your loyalties...
Rating: Summary: Stephanie Plum just keeps getting better and better! Review: I picked up my copy of Hot Six this morning and just finished it - in practically one sitting, of course! I love these books, they have everything - mystery, suspense, romance, sex, family dysfunction, humor, etc. I burst out laughing in several sections, and the author really has a knack for making you feel like you are there with Stephanie, Joe, Ranger, Joyce, Grandma, and all the other characters. I can hardly wait for the next one!
Rating: Summary: A Wonderful Read Review: If you are looking for a wonderful summer read, Stephanie Plum is the girl for you. In the latest adventure, she continues to hone her bounty hunting skills while evading disaster at every turn in the usual Plum style. Hot Six is a great entry in the Stephanie Plum series that will keep her fans turning the page.
Rating: Summary: Hot, hot, hot! Review: Evanovich continues to impress! Her use of a cliffhanger at the end of High Five was a great technique and I could hardly wait to read this one to see which of her two hot paramours she actually picked (sorry, I cannot let the cat out of the bag). She is also one of the few authors whose books make me laugh out loud. My favorite characters are Grandma Mazur and Lula - just knowing they are coming up on the next page plasters a grin on my face. Of course, both Joe Morelli and Ranger provide lots of sizzle. Excellent book!
Rating: Summary: Another cracker! Review: I got it wrong...but that's all I'll say as I don't want to spoil the surprise! Hot Six is more of what Plum fans have come to love; a steady turnover in Stephanie's cars, an intriguing mix of bail jumpers; some hilarious, some deadly and of course, Steph's love life, family and pet(s) are as off beat, frustrating and amusing as ever. The plot is interesting but as usual is more of a backdrop to the frenetic lifestyle of the heroine. I loved it and read it in a few hours, despite trying to make it last. Stephanie appeals on so many levels; she has two incredibly sexy men in her life, an exciting job ( within the pages of a book at least) and raises success through incompetence and luck to a fine art. Realistic it's not but who wants realism? Funniest part? Has to be Stephanie being driven away by a taunt about her pimple from someone she's supposed to be grilling. I never realised having a spot could be so character changing.....
Rating: Summary: AND I thought I had problems.... Review: Newest adventures of Stepanie Plum would make even the strongest women break down,,, but our Ms. Plum. Wacky, fun, witty ,fast paced.. all those things we expect from J.E's books & more. I thought I had "interesting" relatives, she has to deal with her grandmother from H**L and at least my live in dog in fully house trained. Tying up the straggling ends of the last book(men), BUT giving us a new ones at the end of this one. Does she think we won't be back for more? With this great series, Nah...
Rating: Summary: Fabulous Review: Loved it, loved it, loved it. The only problem I have though, are these stupid cliffhangers. I hate waiting a year to find out what happens.
Rating: Summary: Another great book in the Plum series! Review: Janet Evanovich's newest book is an excellent addition to the Plum series. This book is very suspenseful and very funny. Ms Evanovich has a real gift for creating memorable, quirky characters that really add to the story. If you enjoyed the other books in the series this is a MUST read. If you haven't read the other books yet you will enjoy the series if you like a mystery with a strong woman detective, a suspenseful plot, and a little comedy and romance thrown in.
