Summary: Absolutely hilarious!
Review: Again, Stephanie Plum creates chaos from a simple job of trying to bring in an FTP(Failure to Appear), and is caught in the middle of a whirlwind not of her own making. She refuses to go after Ranger, and ends up working for him to clear his name in the alleged murder of one of the Ramos boys.

As usual, she ends up surrounded by totally weird characters, from two inept hit men following her, a golden retreiver who watches ESPN, Grandma Mazur moving in with her, Ranger hiring her to help him, and Morelli trying to get time alone with her. Her apartment becomes the meeting place of all the various and assorted characters, usually in the middle of the night. Add a homicial nutcase she is trying to capture, a Trekie convention that ends up a riot, and various and other assorted madcap adventures, and you have another wonderful, funny, and delightful romp through the criminal world of Trenton, N.J.

This is an excellent, fall on the floor laughing, wonderfully upbeat story. I don't know how the author is going to top this one, especially with Steph agreeing to marry! I can't wait to see what mayhem that decision will cause.

Summary: Hot Six is HOT!
Review: For all of you who have waited patiently since "High Five" to find out who Stephanie "did it" with---I'm not going to tell you. All I'll say is that I both laughed and cried when I read the prologue. If the rest of the book is the same, Janet Evanovich has written another winner!

Summary: Hot Six It Wasn't
Review: I really enjoy reading the Stephanie Plum series and all the situations she gets into. This new book comes complete with new problems, but I was very disappointed with the Ranger character and even Morelli. Without giving anything away, it's a great summer "few hour" get away, but not in the same class as her previous books.

Summary: 1 star is FAR too Generous
Review: This volume is an inadequate attempt to propagate the author's own personal dogma. The personal angst and conflicts of the writer are palpable in every sorry sentence, and she seems to believe in the "infalibility" of her own judgements. The selfish motivations of the author should never be so patently present that the reader is uncomfortable in witnessing the internal strife of the writer. In short, only this can be said: what this book's prose lacks in skillfulness or scholarly fact it makes up in shallowness and craven rhetoric. Bother with this book only to your own inconvenience.

Summary: Evanovich scores again
Review: What a wonderful witty book! Though I've been dying to read this book to find out who Stephanie picked, that doesn't seem to matter after the first couple of pages. Once again I was held spellbound, while Evanovich worked her magic. I can't wait until the seventh in the series comes out. How am I going to make it!

Summary: Plum Hilarious
Review: I have loved every Stephanie Plum book. They are laugh-out-loud funny. In this one we find out who came to visit at the end of book five, get better acquainted with Grandma Mazur who still finds great delight in visiting the known or unknown dead at the funeral home, meet various other wacky individuals, and in general enjoy madness and mayhem. I only wish Ms. Evanovich could write two or three times faster!

Summary: Hot Six
Review: This is the best Stephanie Plum book so far, something I would have not thought possible since all the previous five have been outstanding. Evanovich keeps you on the edge of your seat with the romantic tension as well as the superbly crafted mystery and your side in stitches with the hilarity. You may not want to read this in bed if you have a partner as you are sure to keep them awake with your laughter. This book is a fantastic read.<Ree-views>

Summary: hot six was hot!
Review: This book was a great quick read! Evanovich brought back all of the old characters that we have grown to love, But also added many new exciting and interesting characters. It was hard to put this book down because it had such a fantastic plot. Too bad it wasnt very long :) Its a GREAT book though!

Summary: The Best Plum yet
Review: Hard to believe that Janet Evanovich could top High Five, but with Hot Six, she manages to do just that.

Yes. I know who's behind the door. No. I'm not telling. That tidbit is just the beginning of one of the best novels I've read so far this year. I'd waited a long time for Hot Six to arrive, anticipation building, and I was not disappointed in any way.

Evanovich's flair for snappy dialogue and creating quirky characters hasn't diminished a bit. Granny Mazur is just as loopy as we remember and Rex is still running his little legs off and Uncle Sandor's Big Blue just keeps on going.

But now, we have some truly worthy additions to the cast of whacky secondary characters, not the least of which is Bob, a new 'man' in Stephanie's life. All add a dash of spice to the latest in the Plum/Morelli/Ranger saga, which gets more interesting with every page. The main characters have become so ingrained in my mind, I almost think of them as family. Almost.

A truly enjoyable read for your summer enjoyment, although I would suggest a glass of your favorite drink, heavily iced, to accompany HOT SIX's high sizzle factor. Then, there's the cake. But that's Bob's story.

I can't recommend this book highly enough.

Summary: Loved it
Review: This is the best book I have read all year. I read it in a day. Janet didn't disapoint. Stephanie and Grandma are still going strong. My only problem is that I read it too quickly and have to wait for the next book for more.
