Summary: Such fun!
Review: A Stephanie Plum novel is always such fun, I find myself constantly checking to see how many pages are left because I hate to see it end.

Summary: Evanovich does it again!
Review: I pre-ordered a copy of Hot Six and was certainly not disappointed. In the mystery and thriller genre, Evanovich stands out because she is FUNNY! Her ability for dialogue is extraordinary. From Stephanie Plum, her heroine, to her supporting cast (old and new), each and every one has its own voice and personality. Also, all of us who are Grandma Mazur's fans will shed tears of laughter when she moves in (albeit temporarily) with her grandaughter Stephanie, the bounty hunter from hell. As always, Stephanie's adventures occur when she, with and without bumbling partner Lula, stumbles into these incredibly dangerous situations and for the most part walks away unscathed. In Hot Six, Stephanie tries to deal with the sexual tension that exists when she is caught between the two men in her life: Morelli, her first love, a cop who is investigating the murder of the son of a crime boss, and Ranger, her fellow bounty hunter and mentor who is being hunted down as the prime suspect.

If you have never read a Stephanie Plum novel, you can understand Hot Six without the previous five: Evanovich gives enough background for that without repeating herself, but I am sure you will go back and learn where it all started. If you are a Stephanie Plum fan, Hot Six ends with what a new beginning for our heroine and will leave you waiting for lucky seven.

Summary: Predictably Brilliant
Review: In her usual wacky style, Janet Evanovich has come up with another winner. Suspense, intrigue, and foreplay that will keep you guessing till the very end. There are, of course, a few extra twists and turns in this one, in the relationship between Joe Morelli and Stephanie Plum. Ranger, the sexy bounty hunter, disappears when he becomes a suspect in a murder. The inevitable sexual tension with Ranger escalates as Stephanie comes to his aid in order to secretly help solve the murder in which he is implicated.

The usual wacky storyline, a few wacky characters, lots of sexual tension, and a few dead bodies for good measure. You'll be laughing out loud before you realise. Stephanies somewhat predictable bad luck and 'accidental hero' status will have you smiling the whole way through.

Summary: The Real Thunder in Trenton
Review: Isn't the baseball team, it is Stephanie Plum and her team mates in Trenton. I love all the residents of the "burg" and Hot Six introduces us to a new guy in Stephanie's life, loyal Bob! Hot Six is filled with the wacky adventures of Steph and her gang. It is a great summertime read, just try to not laugh out loud!

Summary: reader in Florida
Review: I'd been having a really bad week. Work had been miserable, husband picking at me....I picked up Hot Six and am simply going to cry when I am done. Why? It is another, fabulous Stephanie Plum novel that has had me in tears (of laughter) for two days now. I generally multitask my life away, and was reading Hot Six while brushing my teeth. I started choking, because I was laughing so hard! The author has always written well and entertained, but Hot Six is her best yet.

Summary: A Scream
Review: Janet Evanovich does not dissappoint. Hot Six picks up where High Five ended, great mystery, romance and fun. Certain scenes in the book had me laughing until I cried.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wacky & Sexy- the Best Evanovich yet!
Review: Hot Six starts out a bit slow- the introductory information gets in the way of Plum devotees' instant gratification of the High Five clifhanger. But the engine catches after that and then VROOM! the Buick races through the pages with all the mayhem and humor we're used to. Stephanie is chased by bad guys, lusts after Joe and Ranger, and actually cooks! A meatloaf! The most memorable new character is Bob the dog. He never says a word, but his escapades are hysterical! I had to close my door so the neighbors wouldn't wonder what the maniacal laughter was about! Throw in a few wacky cars, Grandma Mazur's driving lessons, and two helpful hippies and you've got a Plum mystery that you won't be able to put down.

Summary: Laughs on every page! Just what you've been waiting for!
Review: Well, Evanovich has done it again! This book just flew by with the humor & excitement at every turn of the page! Definately leaves you hungry for more!

Summary: Stephanie's in deep once again ...
Review: "Hot Six" starts up just where "High Five" left off ... Is it Ranger? Or is it Morelli? The lover dilemma is the least of Stephanie's problems because she's got her hands full with Carla's misdemeanors, Mooner the spaced-out druggie, Dougie the Dealer, Grandma Mazur, Mitchell & Habib, Alexander Ramos the chain-smoking gun-runner, and Bob the Dog. How does Stephanie handle all of the new stresses in her life? Acne and a never ending cast of automobiles ... I greatly enjoyed this book (as I have all of the "Plum" series) ... in fact, I devoured it in about three hours. Fans of Janet Evanovich need to add this book to the growing collection; new readers need to buy all six and make a weekend of it. The "Stephanie Plum" series is a real gem; there is no series like it!

Summary: Another winner for Evanovich
Review: The latest Stephanie Plum novel has everything! Grandma Mazur, the Blue Buick, and lots of Joe Morelli and Ranger. You finally get an answer to the question at the end of the last novel. Stephanie and Lula are back chasing down the bad guys! Add in Rex the hamster, Bob the dog, and a Star Trek convention and you have another winner from Janet Evanovich. When are they going to start making this series into a movie?
