Rating: Summary: She's Still Got It ! Review: I would really love to meet Janet Evanovich. She must have one heck of a sense of humor! The newest Stephanie Plum novel is just as funny and witty as the previous five were. All the charactors we have come to know and love are there. I cannot wait until number seven. What on earth will Steph think of next and her love life could not get anymore complicated. Keep up the good work Ms. Evanovich and write faster.
Rating: Summary: They're back! Review: What a crew. This quirky group of characters continues to dazzle and delight. Where else can you find an inept heroine, a dizzy grandma, a sexy cop, a mysterious bounty hunter and the kookiest array of bad guys west of the Hudson. For those of us hooked on this series, Hot Six won't disappoint. For those of you who have never had the pleasure of reading this series, hold on to your hat. You're headed for a real roller coaster ride. Can you tell I loved this book?
Rating: Summary: Stephanie Plum is at it again! Review: In Evanovich's sixth Stephanie Plum novel, the dinamo bountry hunter has the job of tracking down an unexpected FTA, Ranger! Now she has to deal with a family of mafia type ex-drug runners... This book is hilarious! The funniest new addition to Stephanie's life (aside from ex-hooker Lula, wise crackn' cop Morelli, the ever elusive Ranger, Rex the-soup-can-hampster, gumpy shootn' Grandma Mazur and the blue Buick) is Bob, a pawned off dog with spunk! A great read; after all the others!
Rating: Summary: HOT SIX, EVANOVICH STILL #1! Review: Well folks it looks to me like Ms. Stephanie Plum is at it again! Hot on the trail of a new bad guy? The bad guy in this endeavor will certainly surprise you! Stephanie is out at her bounty hunting best once again. Definately a must read for this summer, as far as I'm concerned Janet just can't write them fast enough.
Rating: Summary: Another great read Review: More please - I bought this Friday, started it Saturday and finished it Sunday. Now I have to wait another year for the next one. Stephanie Plum and Grandma are a hoot. Joe and Ranger are intriguing and the other characters just add to the joy. I recommend this series to all who enjoy a good mystery.
Rating: Summary: Ranger or Joe? Review: Typical of Janet's books, I couldn't put this one down. The prologue is a "must" if you've been waiting almost a year for your answer to the end of High Five. I love Janet's books - I have yet to find another author whom makes me laugh as much and as loud as she does.
Rating: Summary: Worth the Wait! Review: She's done it again!Hot Six continues the rollicking fun of this series. In fact, I think this is the best so far. Once again, I laughed out loud at the descriptions and actions of the quirky characters that enliven this series. From her new dog Bob(whose bodliy functions add to the fun) to Habib and Mitchell(whose threats to Stephanie and car troubles alsp bring chuckles) to the old stand-bys of Grandma Mazur(now her roommate) and Lulu(still ready to eat or fight), Evanovich's characters fill the book with funny, fast-paced action as Stephanie's main task is to bring in the bail jumper-Ranger! If you're an Evanovich fan, you're in for a treat. If you're not a fan yet, you will be when you're done.(You'll also never look at a meatloaf quite the same again!) PS-The prologue begins exactly at the point High Five ended. My guess of the identity of her evening's guest was right!
Rating: Summary: I can't believe they can get better...but they do! Review: Let me just say, I loved the book. I received it on Thursday in the mail, which I had been on the waiting list for about 6 months. I didn't think the day would come. I thought constantly whether it was Ranger or Joe. I was very happy to hear the pick. My sister, in fact, received the book the day before and called me at work to let me know who the lucky guy was. The book is such an easy read. I could not put the book down until it was finished, which was about 5:00am. Stephanie is a wonderful character who is very secure. The men in Stephanie's live are beginning to learn she can take care of herself. Stephanie's escapades through New Jersey are a constant treat. I love the way everything is detailed so you feel as though you were there and right in the trenches with Stephanie. I love the way the romance is written in with the mystery. You get two books for the price of one. Now I will be waiting anxiously for the next book to come out. The next thing better would be to see it weekly on TV. I loved this book and can't wait until "Seven". I strongly recommend this book.
Rating: Summary: Hysterical! Review: WARNING! Do not read this book late at night unless you want to keep your household awake with your laughter. Stephanie is in fine form and Morelli sounds sexier and sexier with each book. This one was as funny as "3 to get Deadly", the "dog poop" situation was tear-inducing. Wonderful book, can't wait for "7...". Great job Ms. Evanovich!
Rating: Summary: Evanovich scores again! Review: Once again Evanovich has written a story you won't want to put down. The characters she's already created with such unforgettable personality (wouldn't you just love to meet Lula?) are back, along with several new ones--each with enough idiosyncracies to keep you laughing when you're not holding your breath to see how Stephanie gets out of the next tight situation. Although it isn't essential that you read all six of her books in order, you'll enjoy them even more if you do--and following Stephanie Plum's romantic ups and downs is definitely a part of the fun of the ride. Enjoy!
