Summary: Oh Stephanie!
Review: Ranger or Joe? Ranger or Joe? The dilemma for Stephanie continues in this the latest Stephanie Plum mystery. I love that Grandma and Lula are back. And I love that a new pet has been added, Bob the dog. Perfect addition for our hapless bounty hunter protagonist.

The story itself seemed a bit thin compared to previous books but was still enjoyable. I would like to have more details, details, details!

Summary: A page turner and a HOOT!
Review: Our whole family read this book when we were on vacation. It's so entertaining and has a good plot . It is certainly enjoyable when you have a book that has you laughing every page or so. All of the Evanovich's Stephanie Plum books are like that. Our family read the first three last year on vacation. From gun toting grandma to Lula and Connie and of course her elderly apartment neighbors - all the characters are great. It is just a very fun read.

Summary: The best ever!!
Review: I have read all of her Stephanie Plum series, and by far, this is the best yet!! I am setting on ready for #7. The characters were, as always, original and hilarious. Janet Evanovich is one of the best writers around, and I just hope she could write faster; the anticipation of waiting to find out what is going to happen between Joe and Steph, and/or Ranger, is worse than waiting for Christmas!!LOL

Summary: Probably you will LOVE this book!!!
Review: Probably I can hardly wait for book 7!!! Evanovich never fails to deliver--her Stephanie Plum character remains true and strong and FUNNY!! And the supporting characters are still a hoot!! This one ranks right up next to my favorite--Four to Score!

Summary: Totally Well Worth The Wait!
Review: This book does NOT disappoint! The humor is laugh out loud funny - Bob and McDonalds and Bob and his deed in the Lincoln are hilarious. The sexual tension is there with Joe AND Ranger. The characters are so well defined that even though her relationship with Joe is sexy I must admit that I can NOT discount the wish to see what would happen should Stephanie and Ranger ever get together. Dougie and Mooner are off beat welcome additions while Habib and Mitchell seemed a tad bit contrived at times but truly had their moments. LOVE Lula and Steph's whole back up gang of femal friends. Grandma is right on and meals at Mom and Dad's are as good as usual. This book is a MUST read for all true Stephanie Plum fans! AWESOME!

Summary: Evanovich does it again!
Review: This series about this misfit bounty hunter and her cast of dysfuntional friends and family members is incredibly entertaining. Try to explain to fellow customers at Starbuck's why I am just about doubled over in laughter about Bob in the McDonald's parking lot! (Go ahead, I dare you to try to read that section and keep a straight face!) And poor Bob and his prunes! Another fit of laughter where I literally had to put the book down and walk away and get control of myself. The only disappointment? Too short! I read this book in just a few hours! Can't wait for the next one!

Summary: Evanovich outdoes herself again
Review: When I think of the relationship between Ranger and Stephanie Plum, I can't help but compare it to that of a Jedi Master to his apprentice. So, when Stephanie rejects the job of nabbing her mentor who has gone FTA, it is likely that it was out of loyalty but more, out of inadequacy. Stephanie believes that anything she can do, Ranger can do better. The job is handed off to Joyce "The Homewrecker" Barnhardt and she, along with two odd henchmen, begin to follow Stephanie around in the belief that she will lead them directly to Ranger.

Evanovich succeeds in creating another sharp-edged, fast-paced suspense story that surpasses her previous installments. In this story, Stephanie must confront a homicidal rapist who has gone FTA, a Romulan uprising at a Star Trek convention, Ranger's constant breaking and entering, Carol Zabo and her perpetual suicidal pursuits, a new furniture-eating companion, and last but not least, there's Grandma Mazur who has decided to temporarily move in with her.

Through it all, Stephanie manages to whirlwind her way through destruction, danger, and murder with an admirable sense of style. She continuously outsmarts those who stand in her way either deliberately or accidentally. She has her share of luck and misfortune but it is always her spunkiness that gets her to the end alive.

Summary: "Slowly Running Out of Steam"!
Review: Sorry, but of the sixth book in the continuing saga of Stephanie Plum plus family, animals, cohorts and criminals, it seems to me Evanovich is running out of steam. To me, there was too much superfluous dialogue and some rather unrealistic situations. There, also, seemed to be a strain on silliness in an effort to make the situation humorous. Her first couple of books were super reading, for me, but they have steadily gone downhill in content & intent making it a rather tiresome "read". It appears she may have rushed to get this book out and in the haste lost something in the process.

Summary: Fun, Fun, Fun!
Review: Stephanie is a nice, normal girl from New Jersey who finds herself in some mighty strange situations. Her innate resourcefulness in finding out information and the assistance of some of her wacky friends and relations are a true delight to read about. This is not your normal bounty hunter/detective--that's for sure! I am already looking forward to Lucky Number Seven, or whatever they decide to call it.

Summary: S'WONDERFUL
Review: We have read all the other books of Janet and were looking forward to this one, which came out on our 47th anniversary. It certainly didn't let us down, I am only sorry we have to wait for the 7th one. My husband is from Jersey and probably this adds to our enjoyment, since Janet is so right on with her characters, especially Grandma. I have also enjoyed telling my friends about Janet, and we have such great discussions about her books. My local used book store owner Ginger, of Books, Books, Books, in Ramona, CA, shares my enthusiasm. Keep them coming, Janet.
