Summary: Fun, fun, fun
Review: The Stephanie Plum series is a hoot, and this installment doesn't disappoint. Stephanie's relationships with her colleagues become even more complicated and humorous than before, and the descriptions of her dress and grooming always make me laugh out loud. She's brave and bold and brash, a woman to admire and enjoy. So if you're looking for a feel-good read that won't make you feel cheap the next morning, choose this book to read and enjoy.

Summary: What a hoot!
Review: This was my first experience with Stephanie Plum, but it will not be my last! Terrific characters and with all of the fun going on, there is a little mystery woven through the book (What ever happened to Uncle Fred?)that is very cleverly done. I know I should go back and start with the first one as others have recommended, but I want to see who is at the door too, so I have ordered Hot Six. Always fun to find an author that makes you laugh and keeps you interested.

Summary: Hot Six
Review: Hot Six was well worth the wait. I have read the whole series and feel the characters are now personel friends. I have not laughed out loud while reading since Erma Bombeck. Thank you

Summary: Because family comes first
Review: In this installment of Janet Evanovich's series, Stephanie Plumfinds herself submitting to her mother and aunt's request that shefind out what happened to her penny-pinching Uncle Fred whom no one really liked, much less cared about. In spite of her protests that she is not a detective, Stephanie goes out of her way to discover the truth behind Fred's disappearance...If only her uncle's disappearance was all she had to worry about...High Five is a fast-paced, sharp-edged, page-turning read that will literally leave you hanging on to the edge of your seat by the story's end. I started the Stephanie Plum series two years ago based on numerous recommendations and I can honestly say that each book gets better and better. Evanovich has created a daring and spunky heroine in Stephanie Plum. But even more than that, she has created an incredible microcosm which has its share of explosive situations and hilarious incidents. I recommend that you have Hot Six at the ready once you've completed this installment because you don't want to have to wait a year in order to discover the resolutions to one of the best cliffhangers ever.

Summary: High Five
Review: I truly enjoyed this book. Stephenie Plum is my Number 2 heroine. Grandma Mazur is my numero uno. She slays me. I love the characters, the stories, the background, and love reading them in order, and re-reading them. I have just one little problem. I am going blind, and would like to get Stephinie on audio cassettes, but they are always abridged, and I don't want to miss a word. Would it be possible to get all six books in the unabridged format?

Summary: Enjoying Stephanie Plum yet again
Review: Stephanie Plum is great. Anyone who enjoys comic crime with a slight mixture of reality will enjoy this series. Reminisent of the greats: Lawrence Block, Donald Westlake, etc. I recommend this book, but make sure you read them in order for best results.

Summary: Reminds me of James Thurber
Review: And I never thought I'd say that, being from Thurber's home town. But it suddenly occurred to me while reading High Five that only one author has been able to write this well, while also being so, so funny.

Evanovich seems to write to a female audience, so reading her novels is like eavesdropping on a group of women letting their hair down.

Do yourself a favor and read these Stephanie Plum novels from start to finish. They're really great stuff.

Summary: Summer Fun
Review: A tad over the top, a few too many developments, but lots of bouncy fun in the Stephanie Plum tradition. The great thing about Stephanie is that she's often in over her head, and she knows it, but she perseveres anyway because a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do to avoid losing face. Some of the supporting characters (Ranger, Ramirez) are a bit too much on the larger-than-life side, but everyone Stephanie encounters is worth spending some time with.

Summary: I give it High 5 Stars!
Review: I think that was one of Janet's best books of the "Stephanie Plum Series." I was so interested in the first four, but after reading this one, I was entralled. The passion that was blooming with Ranger, and the heat with Morelli. I just wished Janet give in to who she picked at the end. I hope it was Morelli. What I hot novel!

Summary: I AM SOOOO HOOKED!
Review: I happened to come across one of her books on line and read a little of it. I then went and got them ALL and started reading. They are a great fast read that had me laughing out loud! Once I picked them up I was loathe to put it down. I am hooked on Stephanie Plum and can't wait to see what she gets into next with Ranger, Joe and the indestructible blue car!
