Rating: Summary: GET TO KNOW WHAT HE CAN REALLY DO Review: Okay, so John is admired by many and questioned by just as many. But I re-read the book after I read the Afterlife Experiments by Dr. Gary Schwartz in which John Edwards is validated. He took part in some fascinating scientific tests done in the lab at the University of Arizona and so one can better believe his charming book. Mr. Edwards is better "seen" in this book than even on TV...but don't miss the book about John and other mediums in The Afterlife Experiments. I am wowed by the findings and the people courageous enough to explore this space. Yes, read this book and the Schwartz book and enjoy your thoughts.
Rating: Summary: The most profound book I've ever read!! Review: I've felt an immediate connection with John Edward since I came across him on TV one day while channel surfing. At first sight, I thought I knew him from somewhere. Now, after reading this book, I understand why I felt this way. Out of the thousands of books that I've read throughout my life, I have never been effected so profoundly as I have been by this one book. I view life and the everyday trivial problems we all encounter with a lighter heart and I can't even begin to tell you the change my life has undergone because of this. I can thank you John for the entertainment this book provided me but there are no adequate words to express the spiritual gift that you've given my soul.
Rating: Summary: One of the best Review: When I started to read this book I was amaze with it. I love when he talked about Elvis and other stars. When I finished reading the book I told My freinds to read it, because it made me feel like I was there with everyone in the book.

Rating: Summary: One of the best Review: This book is great, It's to the point, It's in simple language, And it says what we should know, Tell our loved ones we care.
Rating: Summary: Good book, but a bit slow in spots Review: This was a very good book, but it was a bit slow in spots. I think they went into a little too much detail in some areas such as the professor's experiment and some of the details of John's journey to developing the TV show. Also, they seemed to jump around the timeline quite a bit. It made it difficult to keep track of the names of the people mentioned in the book.
Rating: Summary: Crossing Over Review: I could hardly put it down. I first got interested in John Edwards by watching him on television. I then heard he had a book. I had to get it. I hung on every word. I have not been able to but the other book yet, but I am going to as soon as possible. I know they will be as great as this one was to read. I know alot of people who don't believe but I do.I am a pieces. I at times see and feel things. I didn't understand. Now I just let them come. I thank John for helping me understand that even though I don't think of it as a gift at times it is. I love your book and can't wait to read the others. thank you
Rating: Summary: Entertaining, but true? Review: I am not sure what I believe regarding John Edward's psychic ability. However, I can say that after reading this book, I better understand mediums and specifically this one's intent. If you are even open to this possibility I reccommend you read this book. At times I felt that I should have read his first publication prior to this reading. However, it really is not necessary to the content. It reads quickly and is interesting. It will make you think twice about the possibility of psychics and the "other side." The only drawback was that I personally wanted to read more about unusal or interesting readings he has given. Don't miss the chapter on Carl Perkins. I reccommend this for anyone with a little time and an open mind. Kudos to John for sharing this with others.
Rating: Summary: Blown Away! Review: I recently came across this book at a family gathering in which my friend's grandmother handed it to me and asked me if I knew who John Edward was. Of course I answered yes, "he's the guy on sci fi", I answered. Not expecting much more than stories about "passed peoples" I starting looking through the chapters and found myself so caught up in it that I read 1/2 through it that same night. This book is so full of inspiring stories and honesty. I'll never forget the part in which he talks about how his grandmother told him, "Don't look at how far you have to go, but how far you've come". This small piece of advice nearly knocked the wind out of me with its wisdom. *I was having second thoughts about attending college and fear of not being able to do all the things I would have to in order to graduate* For anyone with the fear of being left alone in this world, this book offers wisdom and comfort to all willing to open the minds and their hearts to the un-explainable. John truly has left a lasting impression on my life. Thank you so much and God Bless you for all the blood, sweat and tears you have gone through to bring comfort to the masses.
Rating: Summary: If You Liked "One More Time", you'll love "Crossing Over" Review: If you liked "One More Time," you'll love "Crossing Over." This book is a more detailed continuation of "One More Time" filling in detail and giving more information than was contained in the earlier work. Mr. Edward is a good writer and a sensative individual, making the book easy to read and enjoyable whether you are a true believer in supernatural phenomena, a skeptic, or somewhere in between. Having seen Mr. Edward on television, and having read his books, I have no doubt that he is the real McGee....er....the real McCoy. He is truly a gifted individual willing to share his gifts with those who seek his services, with the goal of helping the seeker. This book is a must read for those interested in this type of phenomenon, and a job to others who are merely curious.
