Summary: wake up sheep
Review: My goodness, how John Edward changed my life. First he told me how I had someone close to me pass away once. How did he figure that out? He is not of this Earth. Then he told me how my grandfather misses me very much. Profound!!! By the way, to get one hour of programming they have to edit out about 3 hours of his "misses". He's a fraud, a huckster selling snake oil. If only it was harmless. But naive people put actual stock into what he does. To take advantage of people like this is disgusting and low. So make your money now former ballroom dancer turned psychic. I just hope it catches up with you.

Summary: Great Work as always John !
Review: John as a fellow long islander i would just like to say you make us all proud. Your book is well written and i enjoyed reading it over and over. When i "use" or focus on my ability people often look at me with looks of disbilef and then there are those who think fraud. But as i took from you it just makes us do our thing better. Not much more i can say except great book and hope to see you around long island ! ...

Summary: The hype was a little too much for this book
Review: I'm a regular watcher of John Edward, but unfortunately the hype overtook this book. It's like his life memoirs but he has only been doing Crossing Over for a short time. I found the book a little arrogant

Summary: Disappointed
Review: I loved "One Last Time" and I really enjoy John's show so I couldn't wait for Crossing Over to come out. When I picked up the book and read the back cover, I couldn't wait to get home and start reading. I was disappointed though, the book says, "the story behind the stories" which leads one to believe it was about the 'behind the scenes' stories of the readings he has done on real people. This book seemed just like an autobiography of John and how he got his show. I do like him very much but really didn't expect to read about how many TV show executives he went to and how many meetings he had to have in order to get his show. Don't get me wrong, the book was not a total disappointment, maybe it is just the way the book was marketed. I really enjoyed One Last Time for it's spiritual content, however this book seemed less SPIRITUAL and more COMMERCIAL and that is why I was DISAPPOINTED.

Summary: Trouble
Review: The trouble with Edward's book is not in his analysis, but in his subject matter. He babbles about as if there is some kind of merit to what he is asking.

The questions themselves are fine, as the meaning of life's nuances are worthy to be pondered, but, not unlike Deepak Chopra, he comes at it as if there is no truth, and then postulates his own truth.

I give this book three stars only because it might challenge more open-minded thinkers to read a deeper book afterwards...

Summary: Another really good read?
Review: Love it from start to finished I was captivated. The last book that gave me this thrill was Karen Michalson's "Enemy Glory" a must read.

Summary: Inspirational!!!
Review: I have read all of John's books and along with the others...and I have enjoyed them all. As soon as I started reading this book...I couldn't put it down....and finished it in one day!
Since my Dad's passing 10 years ago, I have been in search of mediums that connect to the other side and did come across one 2 years after his passing and still trying to get my time with John. In the past few years, I have always wondered what is in the minds of mediums, what do they hear...see. Are their every day lives like ours? John answered all these questions in this book! Its very inspiring to know...that death isn't the end! Its the beginning of a whole new life.....and that we can connect with them....through a person like John Edward!!! I give this book a double thumbs up!!!

Summary: Spritual, Emotional, thought provoking, and a great read.
Review: This book is one of those that you won't put down until you are done reading it. I was always what I considered a skeptic. Reading this book really made me look inside myself and analyze my beliefs. I found myself crying tears of joy for those that were lucky enough to connect with thier loved ones on the other side. This is a book that will make you laugh, make you cry, and make you think. I would strongly encourage even the skeptics out there to take a chance and read the book. You will find it worth your time.

Summary: not that good
Review: i'm a daily watcher of john edward's show and i have read his book 'one last time.' i'm a big fan and have forced many a friend to watch tapes of the show with me, in an attempt to get them hooked too. however, i was unhappy and disappointed with this much-anticipated book. it is a quick read and edward's fun and smart and slightly goofy personality comes across on every page. but the book is basically a how-to guide on how to get your own television show. uh, sorry, but i wanted to read about the afterlife, the spirit world, what heaven looks like, etc etc. i didn't want to learn how edward got his first radio gig, or how he found an agent, or how he met with this person and that person and finally got a tv spot and then his own show and and... i know alllllll about this world we live in, john. i was really hoping that 'crossing over: the book' would be about the world in which our departed relatives and friends live. i have to say, wait for the paperback. or buy 'one last time' instead.

Summary: Consuming, wonderful, and all together fantastic
Review: Another great book from John Edward. I have read What if God were the sun and One last time. They were Great BUT this book is the best yet. I could not put it down. The way he writes is remarkable. The only thing that would be better than reading one of his books would be to actually get to meet John Edward. I hope to do this and have a Private reading. In the mean time this book will hold me off. Anyone who is on the fence about "crossing over" should read this book. !!!!!!
