Summary: Tedious
Review: Tedious narcisistic ramblings of a charlatan. His prose is dry and self-indulgent, with little credible sympathy for the people he is deceiving and swindling.

Summary: unfortunate
Review: Unfortuntely I haven't recieved my copy to be able to review, I'm still waiting, even though I purchased the audio tape in July.

Summary: John Edward explains this phenomenon wonderfully
Review: Reading "Crossing Over" was a wonderful experience. John explains how he realized he had the power to "speak to the dead" in a way that makes it seem the most natural thing in the world to do, not scary at all.
His great love for his mother and grandmother I believe helped him to remain a normal person in every respect, even though he had this exceptional power. He writes about various people that he helped speak with their loved ones who crossed over, and is right on in everything he says to them helping these people bring closure in accepting the deaths of their loved ones.
My personal experience with John Edward was at the taping of his "premiere" show, when he zoomed in on me in the audience and my dear friend (my neighbor in Italy) came through. I was able to validate how she was killed in the car accident that took her life, and relay the message to her family. This brought them immense peace..
John Edward writes with clarity, feeling, humor and knowledge on this amazing gift that he has. Even the biggest sceptics would enjoy this book.

Summary: Message directed to MIKE ZAJAC "HELL BOUND"
Review: mike you obvious haven't lost anyone in your life and don't understand what a gift john edwards has. i believe in his readings and they are true and in factual! you are a man of a small mind and live in untrust. if you let your soul open up a bit, you will see john's great gift. i have lost my dear daughter and believe me i have made contact with her only because i believe in the spirtual world and the love there. my daughter has come to me and related that our loved ones are all around us and when ever we need them or in sorrow, all we need is to pay attention....

so mike, pay attention and trust your soul, if you know where it is. we live in hell aready and we are being tested each & every moment of our lives, our loved ones that have crossed over have messages and answers to our tests... pay attention... and yes read the bible, believe in the bible, but believe in loved ones.

how wonderful to have a person like john edwards to be blessed with such a gift, and great of him to share it with the world.

i have read all, and read them again and recommend to people that are hurting, and open there hearts... with love to you all and mike most of all to you. let your denial down and let truth enter your soul.

the believer....dg

Summary: Crossing Over
Review: This book was a well thought-out and moving account of John's experiences as a medium, and what its like for him to be a medium. I alternately welled up, and laughed aloud. John is a compassionate, funny individual who is committed to helping people, and getting the messages from beyond across. This was an honest and informative read. Loved it, John--Great job!
Please keep up the excellent quality of your work, and continue to stand behind your convictions. It is appreciated and recognized! Thank you.

Summary: One of Us
Review: I found it comforting to know that John has the same problems most of us do. His humor in the face of his own doubts and worries made me smile. I also found my self saying "Oh My God" when surprising validations and visits were mentioned. I enjoyed Crossing Over very much and wish John Edward the best.

Summary: A Skeptic's Medium
Review: John Edward is a skeptic's medium. I have read Sylvia Browne and I remain skeptical. I then read "One Last Time" and now "Crossing Over" by John Edward. I couldn't put either down. I read "One Last Time" twice. I ordered Crossing Over as soon as it was available.

I remain skeptical but I am leaning toward belief now. Next step is to go to a seminar or meeting. I am from the "show me" state and an accountant. Show me. I am signed up, John. See you in Wichita!

Summary: A Worthwhile Read!
Review: For John Edward fans this is an enlightening glimpse into the life of a young man who has become a phenomenon. The history of how the show, Crossing Over, came about is interesting and frustrating at the same time. John's quirky personality comes through his words and you feel as though he is sitting next to you telling the story. I was lucky enough to see John in person and he is as "real" as you and I. What a pleasure to see success for a young person who can admit to his own faults, stand up for his principles, and work to maintain his humility. The book is a roller coaster ride glimpse into his life. If you want to read about his contacts with the other side, you would do better to read "One Last Time." If you want to read about John Edward, this is the book for you.

Summary: Too Much Like 'One Last Time'
Review: I really enjoy John Edward and the show and I couldn't put down 'One Last Time' and 'If God Were the Sun' but I can't even get through this one. I am a huge fan. I bought the book the day it came out and I am disappointed because most of this book was 'One Last Time' only in more detail. I was hoping to hear more stories of "real" people and their encounters with the amazing abilities of John Edward. This book was more like his full life story in detail. Which would b fine but the title lead me to believe that I would here more stories of everyday people (like the show) not just how John made it though his career and what he did to get where he is now. I will always be a true fan and I will always read all the books he puts out but how much detail do I need to know about his private & career life? I just want to hear more amazing stories. Granted there are a few in this book but I was expecting more. The first 2 chapters seemed to be in depth review of 'One Last Time'. It was pretty boring and I wanted to skip over it.
