Rating: Summary: Spectacular, Spectacular! Review: When I first read "One Last Time". I didn't really know what to expect. I had always believed that the soul is too powerful just to "dissolve" once we pass on, but I could never find any material that connected on the same level of understanding that I had about this issue. For some reason my mother bought this book, which is odd because she never goes out on a whim to purchase books, but when she brought it home, I was curious. After reading John's first book, my whole perspective on life had changed. I am 100% convinced that there is something more than this life, and this is just the beginning for all of us.Being so captivated by his first book, I bought "Crossing Over" immediately as soon as I saw John's name on the spine. I didn't need to peruse the pages to see wether it would be good or not, I undoubtedly knew it would be! And I was right! This book was also another great read, and I'm probably as dumbfounded as John is with the success of his first book because I thought it would have been huge, seeing that I believed it was the first book that had actually made an impact on my life. I would recommend this book to absolutely anyone!
Rating: Summary: absolutely fabulous book Review: I thouroughly enjoyed reading this book, it was a if john was right there telling the story to you himself. It was the type of book you did not want to put down. The stories he told of his clients were inspiring to hear. I am sure it it great closure for all those that are read. I truly believe in him and his work, and someday would like the oppurtunity to have a reading done by him. The book takes you through all his triumpts and tribulations of getting where he is today, i would reccomend it to everyone whose has lost someone in their lifetime ,it is very consoling.
Rating: Summary: Crossing Over Review: I have always thought that my father & brother are with me. They let me know in some silly ways that they know what's going on in the family. So this book just helps to validate that I'm not crazy. There really is someone looking out for me.
Rating: Summary: Book Review Review: Great book. Could there really be life on the other side. I'm a believer and after reading this you will too. He is a true psychic who can talk to the dead. But don't take my words for it.
Rating: Summary: Great Behind The Scene Book Review: I really enjoyed John's first book and this one did not disappoint either. Instead of a series of readings, he gives more insight into his journey. How he got on TV and the struggle he went through to keep it real. It made me respect him even more. Well written and well worth the time in reading.
Rating: Summary: Crossing Over Review: I have experienced many mircles and need to give this information to the world. I lost a daughter after 22 years of illness Shelly passed over three years ago. She was my teacher. I have her with me still this is what John has given me. I like many would like to thank John and give him my knowledge what I have been given and share a blessed peak I had of Heaven. I vollunteer for Habitat for Humanity in CA to give something back. The wisdom that is given to each one of us we should not take it lightly. Give something of your self every day. When time gets hard and it will no one goes throught life easy, get up and brush it off and use that knowledge to help God. So many of us are touched with blessings even when it is hard. I saw John in San Francisco and in Los Angeles and watch him nightly on TV. Bless him for he gives us confort. His book is wonderful [...].
Rating: Summary: A different take Review: This book was funny and amusing. John Edward wants to take the 'mysticism' out of the occult, and does so by simply being himself. There aren't any new age crystals sold here--just some candid stories about himself, and his unusual profession. This medium wants us to know he is just human, not a prophet. If you're looking for the caricature of a 'fortune teller', don't look here. This is an average jeans and t-shirt guy, with a sense of humor and a house in suburbia.
Rating: Summary: I Loved The Book Review: This book is mostly about John Edward. I like John Edward's writing style. He is serious, witty, and honest. Getting to know him so well from his writings and his TV shows helps me to believe that he really does talk to the dead. Between James Van Praagh and John Edward, our view of life vs death is changing. I read somewhere in the 1980's that in the 21st Century the "Veil between Life and Death will fall." Reading John's book, the "veil" seems to be falling and it is falling from a young man who doesn't have the other-worldly personality. He is a very down-to-earth American young man who happens to be a psychic. Even a fuddy-duddy cynic cannot help but be impressed by John's relaying what he "sees" from the Other Side. He will have to write another book, such as his' "One Last Time" which is mostly about his "Crossing Over Readings."
Rating: Summary: John edward....Incredible! Review: Well i havent read the book but his show brings some much knowlege, meaning we can learn that life is not just what we see around us,it is that too but theres also a spiritual meaning to it...well thats all i have to say but meeting John Edward would be like meetin Michael Jordan for me.
Rating: Summary: Linda Liked It Review: The information flowed without barriers. The subject material was interesting, informative, down-to-earth and funny. John writes in a language that we all can understand. I intend to buy the book for myself as a Christmas gift. Thank you for teaching, through your writing, that we are all part of the ebb and flow of life and that the circle of love remains unbroken. Reading John's writing, like watching his TV show, is like water to a crispy, dried out and thirsty fern. You absorb it so naturally, become refreshed and better able to be the best fern you can be.
