Summary: Crossing Over...
Review: Crossing over The stories Behind the Stories is a must read for anyone who wonders about life after death. John Edward gives you the first real look behind the secens of being a psychic. In this book you will take the journey with him as he trys to understand why it was that he was meant to have a T.V. show and how he got there. The stories of readings that he has done will make you laugh and cry. They are heart warming and insiteful.
If you have watched his show or read his other books you know that he always tells people not to wait for that "one sign". He shares with you how he too had to learn that lesson as he waited for three sign's from his own mother.
In this book you will find the reconnection with your own lost loved ones and if nothing else the reconnection with your own mind, heart and soul.

Summary: Amazing
Review: I received One Last Time as a Christmas gift from my daughter, and it is, without a shadow of a doubt, the best gift I could have ever received. I am an avid fan of John Edward, and this book allows all its' readers to better understand where John "is coming from". It is very well written and very understandable and, best of all, very addictive! I can't wait to get the rest of his books. His mother must be very proud of him!

Summary: "What If GOD Were the Sun?
Review: John, and his very real approach to this subject,
has been a Godsend to me. I had always been told by friends,
and family members, that some of the experiences that I have had
in life, were "all in my head." John has brought a great deal
of sceptics, into now, being true believers.
I have read,"What if GOD were the sun." I have
been trying to track down a copy of "One Last Time." I plan to read every book He's written, as it becomes available to me.
Our public library, has waiting lists to borrow his books.
If that doesn't say something, than what more does it take?
I find John to be refreshing and "real." My Father passed while
my Mother was carrying me. So I fully understand, That
there is, and has always been, another reality. John
reinforces, my strength, and I have learned a great deal,
from watching him. I feel my Fathers presence, ever more
clearly, now that I know what to look for, and how to interpret
what I am senseing. Thanks To John, and To All of the People
that have made his show available to me, and to all of the sceptics out there, that so despirately needed, a good man like
John, to show them the way.

All My Best to You and Yours
God Bless

Summary: A man with grace and style with a very special gift
Review: I started watching John's show "Crossing Over" right after my dad passed in June of 2001. He just totally captured me with his style, charm, and personality. So I went to his website and found out that he had written some books. I sought out "One Last Time". What incredible reading. When I found out that he had published "Crossing Over", that was the number one request on my Christmas list. I am more than halfway through the book and let me tell you, I am not disappointed one bit. It truly shows the struggles in his life to be accepted in the "Real World" as a medium. I truly find this book just as pleasurable to read as "One Last Time" was. John, keep the books coming!!!!! Hurry up and come back to Denver because I will be sitting in the audience when you do!!

Summary: John Edward's book is amazing
Review: I have seen John's show since I have moved to Baltimore more than a month ago. The book explained how John got started with his reuniting family memebers with those who have passed on. There are no words to express the impact that John leaves on the people who receives the messages.
I will read everyone of his books and I will watch him religiously every Sunday-Thursday at 11:00pm and during the week at 5:00-6:00pm. John is just well, awesome. There are no words to express how strongly I recommend his book.

Summary: Crossing Over
Review: This book appears almost diary like. You can almost hear John narrate his life through the pages as you read each word. John tells us of the trials and tribulations that one would expectedly go through in such a field, encountering skeptics and the alike. Celebrity status isn't always so glamourous as everyone makes it out to be, experiencing financial difficulties and credibility issues, John soldiers on to continue helping people move through the loss of a close relative/friend and bringing them closure as well as helping us all understand what it is like in the afterlife, and what we should be doing in our current life. A very well written book and, unfortunately you can't put down. Well I couldn't!

Summary: Interesting but unexpected
Review: While I am faithfully glued to the television each night for my daily dose of John Edward, I must say, this book wasn't quite what I had hoped it would be.

Much of the information in the first few chapters were a review from the previous book "One More Time" with a little new information added. I was happy to read an update about John's signs from his mother however. Another major part of the book was telling about how the show got off the ground and John's life in the past few years. Definitely a lesson in listening to your guides and very interesting to read but not what I had hoped when I saw the "CrossingOver" title.

The book didn't grab my attention like the first one did. I learned about the entertainment business and had reaffirmed for myself through reading the book the integrity I knew John had. But I had hoped when I picked up the book I would hear more about the guests of CrossingOver -- both the ones in the gallery and the ones on the other side. I would have loved to hear more about how the readings changed people's lives and their reactions to them as well as more about the individuals who came through.
