Rating: Summary: Awesome! Review: this book is really awesome. I love all max lucado's book and this book moved me especially. Lucado has a heart to write in a way that touches many. He puts truths into this book that is comforting. a must read!
Rating: Summary: Max Lucado's best so far... Review: This book made me smile, made me cry, brought the Lord Jesus up close, and left me astounded. This is definitely my favorite Lucado book so far. I would suggest you listen to the audiocassette as well. It is read by the author.
Rating: Summary: Unmistakable Mastery for the Soul Review: This is a most powerful and empowering book. Max Lucado, a spiritual writer, refers to the way Christ moves the stones (obstacles) in your path with this title. Such relevant issues include feeling shame for past behaviors, when others let us down, facing discouragement, having a bad attitude and my personal favorite dealing with difficult relatives. Lucado who often writes with a whimsical format, wrote this book more on a pensive level although not critical. He even has a chapter he calls "Listless Christianity". My favorite quote in the book is "Faith sometimes begins by stuffing your ears with cotton". Meaning you have to ignore those who tell you that you aren't smart enough, not strong enough, not pretty enough, not tall enough, etc. to achieve your goals. After you have finished the text, there are study guides for you to review at your own pace. These study guides will provide the opportunity for you to apply what you have learned to your individual situation.

Rating: Summary: An inspirational book for anyone! Review: This is the first book I have ever read by Max Lucado. After I started reading it I couldn't put it down. Mr. Lucado does a fantastic job of delivering God's message that is enjoyable as well as inspirational. I would recommend this book to anyone. After reading this book, I have already purchased another of Mr. Lucado's works.
Rating: Summary: My heart cried and laughed at the same time!!!!!! Review: This is the first one of Max'a books that I have read. I finished it about 6 months ago and have read it 5 more times since. I am an aspiring minister and to me no course could ever prepare me for ministry like this book has. This was really a God-sent and a very humbling experience. 1998 has been the toughest year of my 33 years and this book help me keep it together by showing me that God still moves stones. I love you Max and may God continue to bless you. Currently I am readin "In the Grip Of Grace".
Rating: Summary: It's like a heart massage for broken hearts Review: When I was first saved I bought this book at a garage sale, little did I know that it would be the best thing that ever happned to me. When I paid for my book, the owner approached me and said, get ready for a miracle! Amazing how God works! Buy this book for every person you are leading to the LORD, especially those who have had a hard journey.
